August 23rd: This will be another weekend that really puts the ROH champions to the test. Ring Of Honor can boast as having the best World and World Tag Team Champions in the business, but the champs aren't going to live on their reputations. They will be tested this weekend in both St. Paul and Chicago. ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson and ROH World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong have held their belts for all of 2006. Now they face their toughest weekend yet. August 23rd: ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson really has an ambitious weekend. He has signed up for 2/3 Fall World Title Matches on both nights. St. Paul will see the classic wrestling series of the year continue as Nigel McGuinness gets his rematch from Liverpool. It will be McGuinness' last chance at the belt during Danielson's title reign. If you need proof on how hard-hitting the matches between these two have been just check out the new ROH Video Recap at ROHvideos.com. Fans in St. Paul should expect another classic.
August 23rd: Colt Cabana will challenge for the World Title once again in his hometown of Chicago if Danielson makes it past McGuinness. Whether Danielson is champion or not, it will be Danielson vs. Cabana 2/3 Falls in Chicago. Last time in Chicago they produced a thrilling match. Now Cabana could get one last shot at the belt during Danielson's reign. August 23rd: ROH World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong will be faced with two all star teams this weekend. Friday in St. Paul will have the champs faced with Samoa Joe & BJ Whitmer. Saturday in Chicago will have Aries & Strong against Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal. Do we really need to give these matches any hype? This will be tag team wrestling at its best in both St. Paul and Chicago. If Aries & Strong drop the belts on Friday, the Saturday match in Chicago will still take place as schedule and it will determine the #1 contenders.
