The Best Wrestling on the Planet rocked the City of Brotherly Love this past Friday! A sold-out 2300 Arena saw Ring of Honor officially begin its Road to Final Battle. And it is because of the amazing response in Philadelphia that ROH will return on Saturday, December 16 for another International TV Taping!
Be there at the 2300 Arena to be the first to see the fallout from Final Battle, less than 24 hours after ROH’s seminal event, and be part of the Philly faithful as we close out our biggest year to date! Get ready, Florida. It’s less than three weeks until one of the most talented and talked-about wrestlers in the world makes a rare appearance in the Sunshine State.
“The Cleaner” Kenny Omega, the inaugural and current IWGP U.S. Champion and leader of Bullet Club, will compete at ROH Elite in Fort Lauderdale on November 11, and at Sunshine State Excellence in Lakeland on November 12 for an International TV Taping.
Omega is riding high after headlining ROH’s recent Global Wars, a history-making tour Oct. 12-15 that featured sold-out shows on four consecutive nights in four different cities.
In the main event on the final night of the tour in Chicago, Omega successfully defended his IWGP U.S. Title against YOSHI-HASHI. On the three prior shows, Omega teamed up with various members of Bullet Club to successfully defend the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles against The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan), CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI, Will Ospreay and Toru Yano) and the trio of Best Friends (Beretta and Chuckie T.) and Flip Gordon.
Before competing on two ROH events in Las Vegas in February 2016, Omega had not appeared in an ROH ring on U.S. soil since 2010.
