Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli have publicly told the world that there isn’t a team in wrestling better, and to that end, they are willing to prove it to the entire industry. With the announcement that ‘Tag Wars’ is coming to Ring of Honor this summer to test the Kings’ claims, speculation has run rampant. And shortly after the unveiling of the three blocks of talent in this tournament, critics and skeptics alike have begun their speculation and prognostication; forming opinions as to who will, and in their minds, should, win each block and move onto Ultimate Endurance when ROH returns to Charlotte, North Carolina. There the winners of each Block will do battle against the ROH World Tag Team Champions – The Kings of Wrestling – with the World Tag Team Championship at stake.

With that we are now happy to reveal the ‘Tag Wars 2010’ tournament bracket in full, showcasing the matchups that will make up the Opening Round of action.

The ‘Tag Wars 2010’ tournament begins this Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia, PA as part of the next round of Ring of Honor on HDNet National Television tapings, with ticket information for the both events available here – Friday & Saturday.  The Opening Round concludes in two weeks when ROH returns to Chicago, IL on July 24th, and you can secure your tickets here.  The Semi-Final round of action will take place on Friday, August 27th when Ring of Honor debuts in Richmond, VA. The Final Match in Tag Wars 2010 will take place on Saturday, August 28th, and it will be Ultimate Endurance. Four teams will enter the ring, and after three falls, the ROH World Tag Team Championship will be decided.
