Plus, the Kings of Wrestling toot their horns after “The Big Bang!”, and Prince Nana and the Embassy is not happy! In addition, Colt Cabana says blood will be spilled next Saturday night in Chi-town while Kevin Steen and Steve Corino seem to be up for the fight! Finally the World Champion, Tyler Black, talks up both Kenny King and Chris Hero while sparks fly between King and Austin Aries!
- If you listen to the Briscoe Brothers and countless fans, the Kings of Wrestling stole the ROH World Tag Team Titles at “The Big Bang!” In fact many believe that the KoW signed to face the Motor City Machine Guns in New York on May 8th simply to avoid the boys from Sandy Fork on ROH’s biggest stage. ROH officials have reviewed the footage and while there is no direct proof that Hero’s “golden elbow” is doctored in any way, it’s plain to see why there is controversy. It’s that controversy that will land in the Kings and Briscoes against each other in singles action on May 7th!! The Briscoes will get their mandatory title rematch, but that will have to wait. Mark Briscoe will face Chris Hero while Jay Briscoe takes on Claudio Castagnoli when ROH rolls back into Manassas, VA! The Briscoes want nothing more than to bring the fight to the Kings, and ROH officials made it clear that this was the fastest way to make that happen! Be there when bad blood boils over in Virginia! - Sources indicate that ROH officials may have sorted out the Pick 6 Championship Petition situation and a big announcement regarding could be forthcoming today. Stay tuned to ROHWrestling.com for more as news breaks.
- Delirious has been out of action since the March 5th ROH on HDNet National Television tapings due to a throat injury at the hands of Austin Aries and company. Things have been eerily quiet as it pertains to the ‘lizard man’, but sources have informed ROHWrestling.com that the injury and a scheduled Japanese tour for NOAH will have kept him out of ROH action until at least May 7th. This would mean over two months of inactivity. In light of that, we’ve confirmed that ROH officials have reluctantly been forced to strip Delirious’ number four Pick 6 ranking. As a result, Davey Richards and Kenny King gain one spot and Austin Aries slides back into the number six position. Could Aries have attacked Delirious’ throat just to make sure he’d have a backdoor into title contention? We’ll have more on this next week.
