 April 29th Newswire

- Kevin Steen laid out the challenge (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/hell-hath-no-fury/), and Colt Cabana was quick to respond in the latest edition of the ROH Videowire. Cabana was even faster to submit his match stipulation to ROH officials. Cabana wanted to use Barbed Wire in the bout, and officials at the New York State Athletic Commission quickly stepped in. An official at the State was quoted as saying, “Barbed Wire is illegal as it pertains to wrestling in the State of New York, regardless of whether it’s happened before or not.” Cabana was not happy. “I want to inflict another level of pain on Steen, and the wire would have done the trick. New York says we can’t when we know it’s been done before, well that’s fine! Because now I’ve got an even better idea. I’m gonna let the ROH FANS CHOOSE!” News broke last night at www.twitter.com/rohonhdnet about this, and since then over 700 votes have been cast! Fan voting will continue until next Thursday! Let your voice be heard, visit any of our social networking portals or send your vote to [email protected]! You can decide what rules Cabana and Steen go to war under in New York!

- Speaking of New York on May 8th, less than 30 reserved tickets remain! With special guests, special stipulations, and the World Championships at stake, you don’t want to miss out! ROH officials have decided with everything on the line next Saturday night that this event shall be “Supercard of Honor V”!!! - Erick Stevens has made a statement after “getting rid of the Necro Butcher” last weekend in Dayton, OH. Necro was hospitalized after a brutal Doctor Bomb onto two upright chairs at the hands of Stevens, and now the Embassy is on the march for respect. Stevens has signed an open contract for May 8th in New York! After listening to his comments in yesterday’s Videowire, who will be man enough to get into the ring with the Embassy’s “Runaway Train”?

- Austin Aries enjoys playing games. He has taken a liking to avoiding and dismissing Delirious’ challenges and has even gone as far as to submit for a managers’ license. “I have so much more to offer the fans of ROH,” said A-Double. “I’m a world champion, a fashion pioneer, a vegetarian icon, and soon, I’ll be the greatest manager that ever lived. So what if along the way I kicked a masked lizard man in the throat? So what if his girlfriend got in my way? You think it bothers me one bit that he got hurt or is pissed? Fine, you tell Delirious to get a partner and meet me and Rhettski the Jetski in Manassas. Then he can come and get his so-called revenge.” As everyone will see next Monday night on HDNet, Aries’ horrific actions not only took Delirious out of ROH action for quite some time, but we have yet to fully discover what effects his vicious attack to the throat has had. We’ll have more on this as it develops, as sources indicated to ROHWrestling.com that there may be more to this story.
