- Ring of Honor is on the road once again with “Two Nights Only” in Louisville, KY! This Thursday night, December 9th, we hit The Davis Arena, 4400 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY for the first of two “ROH on HDNet” TV Tapings. Featuring ROH World Champion Roderick Strong vs. Colt Cabana in a Non-Title bout, Christopher Daniels vs. ROH World Tag Team Champion Chris Hero, and Homicide vs. ROH World Tag Team Champion Claudio Castagnoli! Also scheduled to appear: ROH World TV Champion Eddie Edwards, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas, Jay & Mark Briscoe, The All Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus), Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Sara Del Rey, Mike Mondo, Grizzly Redwood, & Michael Elgin! Tickets will be available at the door on Thursday night; belltime is at 7:30PM.
- The second of the “Two Nights Only” affair in Louisville, KY takes place on Friday night, December 10th at The Davis Arena 4400 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY. This second “ROH on HDNet” TV Taping features a World TV Title Match between champion Eddie Edwards vs. Christopher Daniels, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs. The All Night Express, and Jim Cornette will conduct a special interview with “The Notorious 187″ Homicide! Also scheduled to appear: ROH World Champion Roderick Strong with Truth Martini, World Tag Team Champions The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) with Shane Hagadorn, Jay & Mark Briscoe, Colt Cabana, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Sara Del Rey, Mike Mondo, Grizzly Redwood, & Michael Elgin! Tickets will be available at the door; belltime is at 7:30 PM.
- Just added to both tapings in Louisville is MsChif!!! MsChif has recently returned from an injury and is ready to bring more competition to the Women of Honor. MsChif is a veteran who has wrestled all over the world and attained many championships over a nine year career. She is a former SHIMMER Women Athletes Champion and is no stranger to either Sara Del Rey or Daizee Haze who will also be in Louisville.
- In case you missed the announcement on the main page, Ring of Honor is rescheduling the two shows originally set for April 29th in Dearborn, MI and April 30th in Toronto, ON, Canada. The new dates for each venue will be one week later, May 6th in Dearborn, MI and May 7th in Toronto, ON, with both events still being held in the original buildings. All tickets purchased for the original dates will still be honored.
- ROH World Tag Team Champions The Kings of Wrestling have returned to the USA following a successful tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. Hero and Castagnoli challenged GHC Tag Champions Yoshihiro Takayama and Takuma Sano on 12/5 at Budokan Hall in Tokyo. The King’s came up short in their quest of world tag team dominance but impressed all the Japanese fans who gave the KOW a standing ovation for their efforts. This match is definitely worth going out of your way to see!!!
- As announced yesterday (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/sara-del-rey-selects-her-partner-for-final-battle/), Sara Del Rey has informed ROH officials as to whom her partner will be at “Final Battle 2010” for her tag team bout against Daizee Haze & Amazing Kong. Del Rey’s selection: Serena Deeb! The self-title “Queen of Wrestling” claims Deeb is the only woman worthy of standing alongside her in the ring, will these duo back of their words? - In other “Final Battle 2010” news (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/two-roh-legends-collide-2/), it was announced that two of ROH’s legendary figures will collide in NYC: “The Notorious 187” Homicide and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels. It’s been quite some time since they’ve collided in the ROH ring, and both men have traversed similar paths during that time. “I’m gonna run through you Daniels.” Stated Homicide, “I’m gonna run through you like I’ve done to everybody Ring of Honor has put in the ring with me since I came ba ck. - The last official match has been signed for “Final Battle 2010″. It will be The All Night Express against Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly in a rematch of their “Richards vs. Daniels” bout that the ANX won! This rematch was originally scheduled for Mississauga but due to line-up changes, it had to be canceled. The changes led to The ANX earning a future shot at the ROH World Tag Titles while Cole & O’Reilly beat The Bravados. “We already earned a title shot so this is just a warm up to the Kings.” Kenny King said with confidence. The ANX seem to be more cocky and arrogant then ever before since securing that ROH Tag Team Title shot and Cole & O’Reilly hope that attitude leaves them the opening they need. “Last time we faced Titus and King they underestimated us and almost lost.” said Cole, “Now their arrogance is even worse, but they better not overlook us. We’ve learned from our mistakes and are ready to beat the ANX on the biggest event we have ever competed in.”
- Not to leave Massachusetts out, (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/will-corino-steen-man-up-in-plymouth/), it was also announced that in Plymouth on 12/17, Kevin Steen & Steve Corino will battle Jay & Mark Briscoe inside the Plymouth Memorial Hall! “I don’t want to be held responsible for what Kevin does in Boston.” said Steve Corino, “Kevin is beyond my control now and it’s all Generico’s fault. Everywhere Kevin looks he sees him, every face may as well be Generico’s face. Jay, Mark, I’m sorry you drew the short straw, but that night you may as well come out to the ring singing ole because that’s all Kevin sees.”

- We have a lot of DVD news to report. The two disc set of “Allied Forces” from Dayton, OH on 10/15/10 is now in stock. This event featured a tremendous match for the Tag Team Titles as The Kings of Wrestling defended vs. Davey Richards and Christopher Daniels. This release also comes with a special bonus disc featuring the entire Samoa Joe-CM Punk Trilogy. Witness all three of their classic World Title Matches from 2004 on one disc. The re-release of “Final Battle 2009” is also back in stock. This special two disc set features the entire iPPV of Final Battle along with the event from the previous night in Manassas, VA.
- Three new DVD’s are now available to preorder at ROHWrestling.com. “Richards vs. Daniels” from Chicago Ridge, IL on 10/16/10 featured the match that was six months in the making as Davey Richards went one-on-one with Christopher Daniels. “Shimmer Vol. 33” will be shipping this coming Monday and includes Champion Madison Eagles defending vs. Cheerleader Melissa. “Survival of the Fittest 2010” from Dearborn, MI on 11/12/10 has also been added to site. Besides the entire night of action from Dearborn this release will comes with a special bonus disc featuring “The Best of Nigel McGuinness”. The bonus disc includes his World Title win over Takeshi Morishima along with several of his best title defenses.
- Fans in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC will want to check back on Monday as we’ll announce the first names signed to appear on January 14th and 15th.
