5/30 TO 6/1…

WWE alums Tito Santana, Eugene & The Patriot Part Of NWS Three-Show Blitz This Weekend 5/30-6/1

This weekend May 30th through June 1st, the Northeast's leading family-friendly wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars, will finish up the month of May the same way they started it... with a bang, as they present three shows in New Jersey & Delaware.

Friday night May 30th, NWS returns to Dunellen, NJ at the Knights of Columbus Hall (647 Grove Street, just off South Washington Avenue & minutes from Routes 22, 28, and 287). His name is Nick Dinsmore, but fans of WWE RAW know him better as the lovable Eugene character, and this recent WWE star will be headlining an all-star cast in Dunellen that night. Standing in his way, hoping to wipe the perpetual smile off his face will be a north Jersey mat standout, the dangerous and demented Danny Demanto.

In a match that pays tribute to classic Western movies, NWS will present the first ever Cowboy-vs-Indian Match, as the Jersey Cowboy takes on the Indian Medicine Man Draven. And if your taste in movies is more towards Cold War suspense, NWS has a tag-team match right up your alley, as Russian bad boy Boris Nobika and his manager/partner from China, Comrade Chow, will take on a pair of high-fliers from good old North America in luchador Antonio Malave and Mighty Mikey Pacifica. Also in tag-team action, the 2008 NWS J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament champions The Gemini Trojans will take on a pair of north Jersey favorites, Pastor George and NWS New Jersey Heavyweight Champion Vicious Vin. They will share the stage with NWS Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans, Corey Havoc, Blade Michaels, and much more.

Tickets for this event are only $18 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors.

Saturday night May 31st, NWS heads down the Jersey Shore to the Lacey Township High School Gym (73 Haines Street in Lanoka Harbor, minutes from Route 9 & the Parkway). Headlining NWS' debut in Lacey will be... get ready... *SIX* of your favorite former WWE and ECW TV stars. Two of those, "America's Hero" The Patriot and The Famous Wrestling Clown will team up together to turn away the 800-plus-pound threat of The Mideast Bullies (Evil T.N.T & Saddam Insane). Former WWE diva Sable's one-time main squeeze Salvatore Sincere will be looking for respect and domination (as well as a crowd who won't call him "Pinky"), and original ECW brawler The Equalizer will simply be looking for a fight. Recent RAW superstar Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore will follow the NWS caravan and bring his superhero antics to Lacey. But the most exciting news is that WWE Hall-of-Famer and former Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion "El Matador" Tito Santana flies all the way in from Mexico to be a part of the action.

The hometown crowd, particularly the young ladies, will also be cheering on their local favorite, and 2008 J-Cup Tournament winner Rhett "The Threat" Titus, as this rising star hero will have the chance to win his first pro wrestling gold, as he has his long-awaited showdown with NWS Jersey Shore Champion and arch-rival Nicky Oceans. Will Titus' home-field advantage be enough to wrest the title from the champon who has held it for nearly a year? This rivalry has been brewing for months, and you don't want to miss what could be the final showdown between these two stars.

Tickets are a real bargain at only $20 for open ringside seating and $16 for bleacher seats.

Tickets for May 30th and 31st can be ordered by calling NWS at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.

Sunday afternoon June 1st, NWS adds on one last hurrah as they join up with their Delaware affiliate Funkdafied Wrestling Federation at Middletown, DE's Everett Meredith Middle School Gym (504 South Main Street, minutes from State Route 1 & U.S. Routes 13 & 301), featuring WWE superstar alumni "America's Hero" The Patriot and Salvatore Sincere, plus FWF's first-ever "Two-Ring Rumble", where thirty wrestlers (and maybe even more) will battle for supremacy. Also on the card will be such favorites as Funky White Boy, Fro Bro Sparks, B-Fehrm and the return, after a 60 day suspension, former Cruiserweight champion Nicky Oceans.

For more information on the June 1st event, or to order tickets, call FWF at (302) 420-7287.

Remaining seats for all shows, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
