Also funeral arrangements….

SEAN CHARLES EVANS, 36, of McKeesport and Atlanta, GA, died, October 2, 2007, in Pittsburgh, in the arms of those he loved, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Born January 28, 1971, in McKeesport, he was the son of Charles and Virginia (Venturini) Evans. Sean leaves behind a legacy of love for God, family and of unceasing loyalty to friends.

A graduate of McKeesport High School and the University of Pittsburgh, he held a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice and worked as a protection specialist for Target Corporation in Atlanta. Many will remember him as Sean "Shocker" Evans, his professional wrestling name.

His family and closest friends will remember him for living life to the fullest and for putting smiles on the faces of those he loved. In addition to his mom and dad, survivors include his fiancee, Mary Johnston of Buford, GA; brother, Brian Allan and "sister" (Barb) Evans; his precious nieces and goddaughters, Brianna and Brooke; grandmothers, Ellamae Venturini and Geraldine Donnelly; "angel" and caregiver, Aunt Joycie Venturini-Dreer; aunts, uncles and cousins; a world full of friends, especially those in Atlanta, who made his short life so much richer. His "Pop-Pop", Eugene Venturini and "Na-Na", Catherine Evans preceded Sean in death. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Willig Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 220 9th Ave., McKeesport, PA. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Safe Harbor Baptist Church, Versailles Borough, with the Reverend Paul Lint officiating.

Friends and family will meet at the funeral home, 8:45 a.m., before moving in procession to church. While undergoing cancer treatments, Sean met many young children fighting cancer. The pain they endured and the courage they showed never left Sean. He requested that if someone chose to do something in his memory, in lieu of flowers, would they support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, P.O. Box 29119, Phoenix, AR 85038.
