Mexican wrestling meets pasties

Ever seen burlesque dancers and midget wrestlers perform together in one ring? We'll guess you probably haven't—unless you've already been to L.A. to see the cult hit Lucha VaVOOM, the wildly popular show that blends authentic Mexican lucha libre wrestling with ladies decked out in sequins, feathers, and not much else ("Sexo y violencia" is the show's motto). Coming to the East Coast for the first time, the high-energy evening features a colorful cast of luchadores, such as the cross-dressing "Queen of the Ring" Cassandro and tag team Los Crazy Chickens. In between acts, a sexy lineup including NYC's very own trapeze twins the Wau Wau Sisters and Julie Atlas Muz shimmy and shake for the crowd. What more could you want? Did someone say comedy? Well, they have that, too. Comics Blaine Capatch and Brandon Johnson host the absurdities, along with someone called DJ Das Booty and his Electric Cowbell.
