…
I attended the Sheamus autograph signing in at Saturday's Market in Middletown PA today. We got there around 10:15 and there was a line of maybe 40 people standing outside waiting. Usually there or more but the fact that it was 4 degrees out and that Sheamus is a "heel" might have kept some people away. The doors opened to come inside to the waiting area around 10:30 so a bunch of us didn't have to wait outside. A lot more people came later on as he was there until 1:00, not sure how many in total.
Sheamus arrived a little after 11 and waved to some of the fans on his way in and said a big hello to everyone. He was wearing what I'd call an old man's hat. We finally got up to meet him, and my friends who are expecting their first child were telling Sheamus she's due in a month he said congratulations and what not and signed the picture to my friend and his future son and also wrote congratulations.
I was next he asked "How are ya lad?" He had his hand out for me to shake, which is very rare as I usually will put my hand out first. He asked my name and personalized the auto for me which hasn't been done at the market before. We chatted a little bit about the weather for a bit. I told him I was a big fan and he thanked me. He shook my hand again I told him thanks for coming and he said "thank you for coming out".
I wasn't sure how Sheamus would be since I haven't heard too much but he was a really nice guy and one of the coolest I've met so far. So you can pass the word along. The market always has it set up pretty well and they keep things moving at a good pace. Sometimes we feel rushed there but this signing was grade A!
