SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES will once again be a part of the WWNLive Experience this year, presenting SHIMMER 100 alongside events from EVOLVE, Beyond Wrestling, PROGRESS, Game Changer Wrestling, and Kaiju Big Battel during WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans! It all takes place at the Pontchartrain Center (4545 Williams Blvd.) in Kenner, LA, just three miles from the New Orleans airport! The SHIMMER 100 event is on Saturday afternoon, April 7th, with a 4:00PM bell time. For those with plans to attend other live events that evening, SHIMMER 100 will conclude by 6:15PM, to give everyone plenty of time to get to their next wrestling destination, wherever that may be! Just one second row reserved seat remains available, plus about half of the third row reserved seating is still up for grabs.

For those who cannot attend the live event at the Pontchartrain Center, you can still see all of the action live on iPPV! Then one week after New Orleans, SHIMMER returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL on Saturday & Sunday, April 14th & 15th, 2018 for SHIMMER 101-104! SHIMMER 101 & 102 will take place on Saturday, April 14, with a 2:00PM bell time. SHIMMER 103 & 104 will take place on Sunday, April 15, with a 12:00PM bell time. 

News broke about a week ago concerning the release of former SHIMMER Tag Team Champion Kimber Lee from her WWE developmental contract. During the past year, she appeared in the WWE Mae Young Classic tournament and on NXT live events under the name Abbey Laith. Though a WWE release can be considered a setback, it has not stopped Kimber Lee from continuing full steam ahead in her professional wrestling career! Within 48 hours of her WWE release, she was added to all of the April SHIMMER events, as well as announced for over a dozen other independent wrestling appearances in the near future. We look forward to having Kimber Lee back in SHIMMER competition next month!

Fans attending the SHIMMER 101-104 events in Berwyn can expect to see a talent roster very similar to that which will be featured on the SHIMMER 100 event in New Orleans. With the exception of Toni Storm, all of the wrestlers who appear on the SHIMMER 100 event will also be in Berwyn during the following weekend (though some may only appear on one of the two days of matches due to prior commitments). In addition to the SHIMMER 100 crew, several other competitors will be in action during the Berwyn weekend, including the already announced Kiera Hogan and STARDOM competitor Kris Wolf! Look for more names to be officially announced for the Berwyn events during the remaining four weeks leading up to the shows!

If you don’t already have tickets to the Berwyn events, and would like to attend, we strongly encourage the purchase of tickets as soon as possible. The advance ticket sales for these events are considerably higher than usual with a month to go before the shows! We expect these events to completely sell out, possibly in advance.

All but one third row reserved seat has already been sold for the Saturday, 4/14 day of taping. Once that is taken, only general admission seating remains! Several full weekend ticket packages consisting of seating combinations in the areas that remain available have been added to the web site (for instance, the option of GA for 4/14 & Second Row Reserved for 4/15, or GA for 4/14 & Third Row Reserved for 4/15, or GA for both days). Below is a look at which reserved seats in the first three rows are still available for the Berwyn events.
