THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO & BERWYN! SHIMMER 86-90!

SHIMMER 86-90 will take place over the course of three days THIS WEEKEND in the Chicago area! The events on Friday, November 11th & Saturday, November 12th are at Logan Square Auditorium (2539 N. Kedzie Blvd.) in Chicago, IL. Bell times are 8pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday. The Sunday, November 13th event is at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th St.) in Berwyn, IL. Bell time is Noon on Sunday. First and second row ticket holders will be admitted to each of the events 60 minutes prior to bell time each day. General admission ticket holders will be admitted 30 minutes prior to bell time each day. The events are suitable for all ages. Tickets can still be purchased at www.SHIMMERwrestling.com in advance. They will be held at the door.

We’re pleased to announce that MICKIE JAMES will join the SHIMMER roster for our 11/11 & 11/12 events at Logan Square! Mickie has been a key figure in women’s pro wrestling for the past 15 years, helping to lay the groundwork for the resurgence of women’s wrestling on the independent scene during the early 2000’s, and then appearing on worldwide television shortly thereafter. On 11/11 & 11/12, we look forward to celebrating the 11th Anniversary of SHIMMER by finally adding Mickie James to the list of amazing competitors to have wrestled on our events! Already signed for this Friday night at SHIMMER 86, Mickie will face former SHIMMER Champion NICOLE MATTHEWS! 

Additionally, a tag team bout has been signed for Friday pitting TRIFECTA members SHIMMER Champion MERCEDES MARTINEZ & SHAYNA BASZLER (accompanied by Heart of SHIMMER Champion NICOLE SAVOY) against the duo of KELLIE SKATER & SHAZZA McKENZIE!

Plus, one of the top women in lucha libre, DULCE GARCIA will compete as part of the Saturday, 11/12 & Sunday, 11/13 festivities! This weekend will be some of Dulce’s first pro wrestling appearances since unmasking and beginning to wrestle under her real name!

Over 35 of the top female wrestlers from around the world will be a part of the SHIMMER 86-90 weekend of events! Included among the talent also appearing: SHIMMER Tag Team Champions EVIE & HEIDI LOVELACE, CANDICE LeRAE, MIA YIM, JESSICKA HAVOK, KIMBER LEE, CHERRY BOMB, SARAYA KNIGHT, LuFISTO, LEVA BATES, TESSA BLANCHARD, ALLYSIN KAY, RHIA O'REILLY, THUNDERKITTY, VEDA SCOTT, NEVAEH, TAELER HENDRIX, HUDSON ENVY, MELANIE CRUISE, SOLO DARLING, MARTI BELLE, CAT POWER, and more! (Please note that the previously announced COURTNEY RUSH will be unable to appear this weekend due to injury.)

Tickets for SHIMMER 86-90 can be purchased in advance right now by heading to www.SHIMMERwrestling.com and using the PayPal buttons there. Purchasing tickets in advance guarantees admission on the chance of a sellout. Since the events are just days away, all ticket orders placed during the remaining days will be held at the door, to claim on the day of the show. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door each day, while they last. General admission is just $20 for Friday night (single taping), and $30 per day for Saturday and Sunday (double taping days). A handful of first and second row reserved seats are still available, if you act fast! 

There will also be a live event this Thursday night, November 10th, titled “RISE 1 - IGNITE!” It will take place at the Berwyn Eagles Club, with an 8pm bell time. The idea behind RISE is “Developing Tomorrow’s Women Athletes,” featuring a roster of up and coming competitors. General admission for RISE on Thursday night is just $5! They can be purchased at the door on the night of the show.
