SHIMMER IS JUST TWO WEEKS AWAY! GOT TIX?
SHIMMER Women Athletes returns to live action at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL on Saturday & Sunday, September 11th & 12th, 2010. Volumes 33-36 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed over the course of the weekend. Bell time on Saturday, September 11th is 2pm. Bell time on Sunday, September 12th is 1pm.
Announced thus far for participation in the tapings are: SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions The Canadian Ninjas, Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Rey, Ayako Hamada, MsChif, Ayumi Kurihara, Daizee Haze, Nikki Roxx, Daffney, Jessie McKay, Tomoka Nakagawa, Misaki Ohata, Kellie Skater, Allison Danger, Mercedes Martinez (9/12 only), Amazing Kong (9/12 only), Melanie Cruise, Tenille, Jamilia Craft, Rachel Summerlyn, Jessica James, Leva Bates, Nevaeh, Cat Power, and Ariel. Plus Mia Yim and Athena have been announced for the SPARKLE (pre-show) matches. Over 25 of the top female wrestlers from around the world will be a part of the action!

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES is pleased to announce the continuation of our sponsorship agreement with 39TEN Lounge & Fabulous Freddies Italian Eatery, located at 3910 S. Harlem Avenue in Lyons, IL. 39TEN will be the location for post-show activities on both Saturday evening, Sept. 11th and Sunday evening, Sept. 12th, immediately following each day of SHIMMER DVD tapings.
Obviously since everyone will need to get some rest in preparation for Sunday's taping, Saturday night will be more scaled back, with the "real" afterparty at the end of the weekend on Sunday. If you appreciate 39TEN's service and atmosphere for our afterparties, and would like to see 39TEN remain our afterparty location in the future, please give them your business after the show each night and grab dinner there. It is through giving them our business that they continue to sponsor our events.
39TEN is just 2.3 miles from the Berwyn Eagles Club. To get there from the venue, all you have to do is make a left on Ridgeland Ave, a right on Ogden Ave, and then a left on Harlem Ave, and 39TEN will be on your right.
39TEN is very close to several local motels, including the Presidential Inn (3922 S. Harlem Avenue in Lyons, IL), which is literally next door to 39TEN, for those who don't want to drive to a motel from the afterparty. It is only 2.1 miles from the Rodeway Inn in Lyons. 39TEN will be fully staffed for the post-SHIMMER festivities, with a full liquor bar, as well as food prepared by Fabulous Freddies Italian Eatery, which is attached to 39TEN.
