Smackdown: LIVE at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY 11-7-05

Thanks to Terri Bey of Lexington,KY

Here are the results from the show I just attended.  I may have the
order mixed up a little, sorry.

Overall attendance was about less than half full, I would say.  The RAW
show back in July had more people.

Juvetud Gerrera beat Kid Kash for the Cruiserweight Title.

Good match.  IMO, the best match on the show.   Good work by both men.

Teddy Long comes out to hype up the crowd.  He announced the US title
match, and the three way for the World Heavyweight Title.   I got to
shake Teddy Long's hand after.

MNM beat LOD, Paul Birchill, and Regal, and Super Crazy and Psychosis in
a Four Way match for the Tag Team titles.

I thought it was a so so match.

Bobby Lashley beat Sylan in an ok match.  Lashley is impressing me
though.

Mr. Kennedy beat Bob Holly in an ok match.

Christie Hemme beat Melina in a typical bra and panties match.

Intermission.

Booker T beat Chris Benoit for the US Title when Sharmell introduced a
chair and the ref was distracted and Booker used the belt to get the
pin.  I have seen better from these two.

Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio beat JBL and Ortlando.  JBL cut a promo
about how Kentuckians are inbred and how he was a wrestling god.  Rey
called him a wrestling ass and called Jordan,  "Buckwheat."   This was a
so so match.  Post match, Rey gave JBL and Jillian Hall a double 619.

Batista retained the World Heavyweight Championship over Randy Orton and
Eddie Guerrero.   He pinned Orton with the Batista Bomb, despite Cowboy
Bob's interference.   Early in the match , Batista and Eddie throw Randy
out onto the floor, and Randy was holding his left arm for quite awhile.
I thought Randy was hurt legit as he spoke to the ring announcer.
However, he continued on with the match ,showing no ill effects, and I
got to see him leave the building after the show was over and he seemed
to be fine.  There were some comedy spots in the match between Batista
and Eddie.   Anyway, after the match, Eddie and Batista celebrate and
Batista shakes hands with those of us in the front row.
