NAWA Ring Champions promoter Phil Heffner joins me tonight for a PSP Fix, live at 9:30 PM ET.

The final overall rating for the October 28 edition of World Wrestling Entertainment’s ECW was 1.2.

Evan Bourne suffered an ankle injury during WWE’s event in San Diego, CA, on Tuesday night. It was determined today that he has torn ligaments and should be out of action for about four months.

The lineup for tonight’s iMPACT broadcast on Spike TV, from Total Nonstop Action, is as follows: Christy Hemme & ODB versus the Beautiful People; James Storm versus Eric Young; Hiroshi Tanashi & Volador, Jr., versus the Motor City Machine Guns; A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe versus Kevin Nash & Booker T; Kurt Angle versus and Abyss.

Last night, Larry Goodman broke news at GeorgiaWrestlingHistory.com that Great Championship Wrestling had removed Johnny Swinger, Bull Buchanan, Sonny Siaki, and Micah and Tracy Taylor from their event scheduled for tonight at the Gr8 Sk8 Plex in Phenix City, AL. It was also reported that Diane Hewes, co-owner of GCW, and Quentin Michaels had been pulled from the event, and it appeared none were to return.

In the aftermath, it was learned that the Taylors would appear at tonight’s Prime Time Pro Wrestling event at the Event Center in Columbus, GA, just a few miles away, replacing Simon Sermon & Thomas Britain in a match they had to pull out of against the Southside Trash. We have also heard Siaki and Buchanan may make an appearance there as well.

With all of the last minute changes being made at GCW, it was unclear if their card would take place at all. This morning, we got a little more clarity on the situation, and it had been determined “Halloween Scream” would go on as planned, but without the two advertised main events, that would have included all of the talent which had been removed from the card.

Then this afternoon, word came down that Eddie Phillips, who has a past with both companies, will be promoting tonight’s GCW event, and has rented the facility from Hewes, and will be responsible for paying the talent. Swinger has apparently been put back onto the show, and that Michaels will also appear tonight, though he has reportedly been relieved of his duties as the company’s booker.

As of this writing, we have no guarantee of what matches will actually take place at GCW, but we believe a portion of it will follow the previously announced lineup: Cru Jones versus J-Rod in a taped fist match. Scotty Beach versus Princeton Gainey III, with Joey Lightning. There is also a midget match planned, and the midgets will be at the door from 6:45 to 7:15 signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans. Bell time is 7:30 PM. As mentioned earlier, it appears Swinger and Michaels will also be on this card, based on the most recent activity.

Meanwhile, across the river, PTPW is advertising: David Young vs. Jake Slater in a Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Scaffolding match. PTPW Champion Chris Stevens vs. Deathrow in a No DQ/Falls Count Anywhere match with the title on the line. In what was originally to be a PTPW Tag Team Title match, with champions Sermon & Britain defending the belts against the Southside Trash, SST will now face the Taylors, who were initially booked on the GCW card. As noted earlier, Sermon & Britain had to pull out of the event. Ace Rockwell vs. Rob Adonis. Sal Rinauro vs. Frankie Valentine. According to sources, Sonny Siaki, who was to defend his GCW Interstate Title in Phenix City for GCW, as well as Bull Buchanan, may also be making an appearance on this card. Bell time is 7:30 pm.

GWH wishes a happy birthday to Alex Porteau (1969) and Edge (1973).

Dave Meltzer has reported that Booker T and the Boogeyman were ejected from Vito’s Deck House this past weekend. Apparently Boogeyman was wearing a cross, and as a result was asked to leave, being told it was against the dress code. After some conversation between Booker and the manager, the two opted to leave, as did some other patrons. Booker is now planning to picket the bar, suggesting they were suppressed for expressing their faith. Anyone who feels compelled to participate in the fight can do so by emailing [email protected].

!BANG! presented "Morbid Power" on October 26 in Ocala, FL: Blain Rage defeated Johnny Magnum to become the new heavyweight champion. "The Claw" Claudia Reiff defeated Awesome Kong to become the new Funking Conservatory Women's champion. Hack Meyer defeated HC Loc to become the new TV champion. Johnny Romano defeated Smack to face "Pistol" Peyton Gunn for the light heavyweight championship. Johnny Romano defeated "Pistol" Peyton Gunn to become the new light heavyweight champion. The next event will be on November 23.

Savannah Valley Wrestling results from October 25 in Royston, GA, are as follows: Ballenger vs. Enigma ended in a no contest when Old School interfered. SVW champion defeated Kevin Blue by reverse decision. Old School defeated Enigma & Ballenger. Jackill defeated Bam Bam Bradshaw by DQ. In a handicap match, JD Jackson, Jake Sanders & Dale Dwindle defeated Shane Bell & Chris Spectra.

SVW will be having a benefit show at Comer Elementary School in Comer, GA, on November 1, with matches to be announced. Bell time is at 7:30. Tickets are $10 for adults and kids get in free. Proceeds will be going to a local church.

Total Championship Wrestling has a benefit show set for November 8 in Douglasville, GA, at the National Guard Armory. Advertised: Jenny Roc vs. Sumie Sakai and appearances by TCW Champion Pretty Boy Floyd, TCW Tag Team Champions Murder One & Kenny Dees, Awesome T.C., Ken Timbs, Jr., Cameron Valentine, Joey Idol, "Bad Boy" Keith Williams, Damon Black, Shooting Star, Alex Sommers, and "Red Neck Hero" Jess Wade. New Heights Wrestling will be at the Old National Guard Armory in Florala, AL, on November 8. Advertised: The main event will be a champions & contenders match. NHW cruiserweight champion "The Famous One" Milo & the #1 contender for the NHW heavyweight title "Pretty Boy" Donnie B vs. NHW Heavyweight champion Mr. Fantasy & the #1 contender for the cruiserweight championship, "The DOT" Chris Tighe. Doors open at 6:30 and bell time is at 7:30. Tickets are $7 and kids 6 & under get in for free.

The Georgia Pro Wrestling Association will be in Lenox, GA, on November 15, as participants in the Lean-Ox Festival. The parade begins at 11am and bell time is at 1pm.
