Tickets for the following World Wrestling Entertainment events go on sale tomorrow: November 29 in Elmira, NY, at the First Arena; November 30 in Johnstown, PA, at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena; and December 22 in Toronto, ON, at the Air Canada Centre.
Total Nonstop Action results from the live broadcast of iMPACT on October 23: Christy Hemme over Velvet Sky, despite interference from Kip James; Sheik Abdul Bashir over Jay Lethal to retain the TNA X Division Title; Beer Money over Matt Morgan & Abyss, Team 3D & the Latin American Xchange to retain the TNA World Tag Team Title in a gauntlet match; Awesome Kong over Taylor Wilde, with an assist from Raisha Saeed, to win the TNA Women’s Title; and Kevin Nash & Sting over A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe, followed by a major beatdown leaving the Main Event Mafia of Nash, Sting, Kurt Angle, and Booker T standing in the ring gloating. Mick Foley’s big announcement that was supposed to change the wrestling world forever was that he has become a major shareholder in TNA. Nick Bockwinkel was in attendance at this show and shown on the air.

Great Championship Wrestling results from the Gr8 Sk8 Plex in Phenix City, AL, on October 23, with a reported 150 in attendance: Joey Lightning pinned Ron Stalker in a match made by Princeton Gainey III to determine who would be in his corner next week; J-Rod pinned Orion Bishop, with Wicked Nemesis, to earn a match against the GCW Interstate Champion on November 6; Slaughter pinned "That 80's Guy" John Bogie after interference from Wicked Nemesis. Johnny Swinger beat Tracy Taylor by disqualification after a low blow in a “One-Armed Bandit" match, where Swinger's arm was tied behind his back. GCW Heavyweight Champion Micah Taylor pinned Cru Jones. Swinger had a backstage interview stating that Bull Buchanan would not be at the show and he got Tracy Taylor to replace Buchanan by allowing the "One Armed Bandit" stipulation. Meanwhile, Quentin Michaels’ green sparkling jacket was seen in the background, indicating he had indeed returned. Later, footage was shown of Swinger talking to Michaels earlier that day in the arena.

Cameron Valentine defeated Street Bandit, w/Short Bandit, when Short Bandit's interference backfired. In a triple threat match for the cruiserweight championship, Mr. Personality defeated Chris Tighe and Dynamite Doug. Chief Little Bear defeated Michael Patrick. Confederate Kid & Lane Smith defeated The Night Creatures to retain the tag championships. Ryan Mitchell defeated Michael Infinger. Steve Dalton defeated Alexander York. Mr. Irresistible defeated "Pretty Boy" Donnie B to become the new heavyweight champion.

Curry had been the reigning Southern Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Art Nelson on September 28, 1956, in Atlanta, although he actually lost the title to Blassie on October 19, 1956, in Atlanta. This seems to have been a match to make the switch for Augusta fans. Fred Atkins & Ike Eakins had been billed as International Tag Team Champions since October 12, 1956.
