Chase Stevens beat Travis Sawyer (with Tony Lucassio) in 6:50. Shane Smalls & Larry Cooter beat The Leprechauns (Chris Cain & Dyron Flynn) in 8:02. Jeff Daniels (with Dominique & Steve-O) beat White Tiger in 9:10. In a match for the NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Title, Steve-O (with Dominique) beat Champion “Playboy” Scott Hayes via DQ, so Hayes retained on the technicality (10:20). JANUARY 16, 1888 (MONDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – CONCORDIA HALL (Promoter – Unknown) > Mixed Styles Match: Duncan C. Ross defeated John Muhler (2-1) / Notes: It was reported that 300 were in attendance for this card. John Muhler took a fall at Greco-Roman style, but Duncan C. Ross countered with falls in the catch-as-catch-can and collar & elbow styles. It was reported that the men had a side bet of $300, and that the winner would receive 85% of the gate receipts with the loser getting the remainder. It was reported that Sergeant Walsh, the only man ever reported to have defeated Ross in a mounted sword contest, was traveling with Ross. Mr. Hopper managed Muhler.
