Results from the November 6 GCW show at the Gr8 Sk8 Plex in Phenix City, AL, in front of a heavily papered crowd of 235: Joey Lightning pinned Murder One (with Wicked Nemesis) after a dropkick, Ron Stalker pinned John Bogie with a roll up, The debuting Southside Trash (Rowdy & Raunchy with J.P. Money) beat Merchants of Death (Johnny Slaughter & ? with Wicked Nemesis), GCW Interstate Title Tournament Match #1: Shaun Banks beat Tex Monroe, GCW Interstate Title Tournament Match #2: Cru Jones beat Scottie Beach, J-Rod beat Johnny Swinger (with Quentin Michaels) to retain the GCW Heavyweight Title. J-Rod was attacked by the members of Michaels Inc. (Swinger, Jones and Banks) after the match.
All tickets for GCW were $5, which was also the case throughout the month of October. Free passes were made available for this show. One fan stated he had received 30 freebies for distribution…Monroe vs. Banks was said to be the best match of the night…Southside Trash are babyface…Wicked Nemesis introduced ? as a new member or Merchants of Death. He was a masked guy that was recognized as the Hispanic man that works for GCW in other capacities…Eddy Philips, Diane Hewes and Bill Hewes were all in the house…It appears they are booking J-Rod ala CM Punk’s run with the WWE title. He was beaten down the entire match and appeared surprised to come out with the victory...The format of the Interstate Title Tournament was not made clear to the crowd. However, it is known that the tournament will continue next week with Adonis vs. Slaughter.
Rob Adonis made a surprise debut for GCW at their show last night at the Gr8 Sk8 Plex in
