Tonight’s edition of
the Sports Buffet, hosted by ‘Chef’ Tim Dix, features a look at professional sports in Atlanta, as well as providing the latest on the Jackets and Bulldogs. The broadcast begins at 9:00 PM ET, and is brought to you by Georgia Wrestling History’s GWH Radio Network.

Last night’s edition of
MMA Sunday, hosted by Casey Trowbridge (formerly of Combat Hooligans, and now of MMA Blitz) and co-host Joshua Haeder, featured UFC welterweight Mike Swick. Swick talked about his most recent fight, being part of UFC's effort to raise money for the fallen heroes fund, his thoughts on weight cutting, and much more. Casey, Josh, and recurring special guest co-host Elaina Maxwell ran down the card for UFC 95 and gave predictions. The program is a presentation of the GWHRN. Click here for the archive.

World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW/ECW crew will be in Spokane, WA, at the Spokane Arena, tonight. ECW will be taped, while the live RAW broadcast will begin at 9:00 PM ET. Advertised: Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr., versus John Cena, Shawn Michaels & Triple H; Mike Knox versus Rey Mysterio, Jr.; Rhodes, DiBiase & Will Regal versus CM Punk & Cryme Tyme; an appearance by Roddy Piper; and Beth Phoenix versus Melina.

WWE results from the No Way Out PPV broadcast from the Key Arena in Seattle, WA, on February 15: Melina over Beth Phoenix in a dark match; in the elimination chamber match for the WWE Heavyweight Title, Jeff Hardy eliminated defending champion Edge, ensuring a new champion would be crowned – Vladimir Kozlov then came in, followed five minutes later by the Big Show, and after another five minutes Triple H entered the ring – the Undertaker came in five minutes later, and he eliminated Kozlov, with HHH eliminating Big Show moments later – Undertaker then eliminated Hardy, but HHH eliminated Undertaker to win the WWE Heavyweight Title; Randy Orton over Shane McMahon in a no-holds-barred match, where McMahon managed to take out Cody Rhodes during his and Ted DiBiase, Jr.’s attempts to help Orton; Jack Swagger over Finlay, with Hornswoggle, to retain the WWE ECW Heavyweight Title; Shawn Michaels over JBL, with Michaels’ wife getting a punch in on JBL, thus meaning Michaels is free from JBL; and in the elimination chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio, Jr., were the first two in, followed by Kane five minutes later – Shortly after Mysterio eliminated Kane, Mike Knox entered, but Jericho eliminated him – Edge, who before the match attacked Kofi Kingston and took his spot, came in next, followed five minutes later by defending champion John Cena – Edge eliminated Cena, meaning another new champion will be named, followed moments later by Mysterio eliminating Jericho – the match ended with Edge going over Mysterio to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

WWE will broadcast the SummerSlam PPV live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, on August 23.

Total Nonstop Action has announced the following events: September 25, at the Nuremberg Versicherung Arena in Nuremberg, Germany; September 26, at the Chemnitz Arena in Chemnitz, Germany; September 27, at the Intersport Arena in Linz, Austria; September 29, at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany; September 30, at the AWD Hall in Hannover, Germany; and October 2, at the October Winterthur in Zurich, Switzerland.

Ring of Honor has announced that Ric Flair will be making multiple appearances at upcoming shows, with the first being on March 13 in Chicago Ridge, IL. He will be signing autographs for $30, with an additional item costing another $20.

Flair is also heading up a seminar on March 29 from 1-3 PM at the Town Hall in Webster, MA, for 100 students, with fees ranging from $150 for the first 25 participants and $200 for the next 25 entrants. For more info, click

Showtime All-Star Wrestling has released the following press release: “Showtime All-Star Wrestling is proud to announce the addition of WKRP-TV to our local television network. In addition to over 20 international syndication deals in place, SAW Wrestling appears locally on Comcast Channel 74. Adding WKRP will add an additional 1,011,517 potential homes to our Middle-Tennessee viewership. WKRP is carried on Charter Cable Systems in Wilson, Dekalb, and Smith counties, including the cities of Lebanon, Watertown, Alexandria, Dowelltown, Liberty, and Gordonsville, among others. The station can also be viewed in Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Coffee, Davidson, Dekalb, Jackson, Macon, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Wiliamson, and Wilson counties. Rampage Pro Wrestling results from Johnny ‘s Fun Center in Warner Robins, GA, on February 15: A.J. Steele over Ron Stalker; Pitbull over Rob Adonis; Chris Jacobs over Murder One by disqualification; J-Rod over Kyle Matthews; Sal Rinauro, Cru Jones & Colt Derringer over MicahTaylor, Chip Day & Johnny Gayton. It was announced that Nick Patrick is the new “commissioner”, and that about 200 were in attendance.

Southern Extreme Championship Wrestling was in Carrollton, GA, on February 14. Results: Frankie Valentine & J-Rod defeated Billy Knight & Sal Rinauro. Rob Adonis defeated Colt Derringer to become the new SECW champion. Before the match began, Derringer was saying that it wasn't a title match, but after the match happened & Adonis picked up the win, SECW Enforcer Chick Donovan said that it was a title match and Adonis is the new champion. So Derringer attacked Donovan and said that he is cashing in his rematch clause and if promoter Scott East doesn't start the rematch, he will cripple Donovan. Colt Derringer defeated Rob Adonis to become the new SECW champion after hitting Adonis with a cowbell. Bulldog Rain & Josh Stone defeated the Nightmare & Kyle Matthews to become the new SECW tag champions. "The Hawaiian Princess" Tracy Taylor defeated "Beautiful" Genni Wright to become the first newly crowned women's champion. Micah Taylor defeated Cru Jones in a West Georgia Street Fight. "The Golden Boy" Chick Donovan & Adrian Hawkins defeated Billy Love. The reported attendance was 380. The referees were Jeff McGowan, Mr. Koonce, and Ricky Spears. The next event will be on February 28. Announced already: SECW tag championship match, Bulldog Raines & Josh Stone defend vs. the Nightmare & Kyle Matthews. Billy Knight & Sal "Tinkerbell" Rinauro vs. Frankie Valentine & J-Rod in a grudge match.

New Heights Wrestling had their 2nd annual “Battle of the Gulf Coast Tournament” on February 14 in Florala, AL. Results: Quarterfinals: "the Future" Paul Jordane defeated "the Definition of Technician" Chris Tighe. "Scarface" Terry Ryker defeated Larry Legend. "The Outcast" Cale Connors defeated Aaron "the Golden" Idol. "The Famous One" Milo defeated "Pure" Doug Pitt. Semi-Finals: "the Future" Paul Jordane defeated "Scarface" Terry Ryker. "The Famous One" Milo defeated "Outcast" Cale Connors. Finals: "the Famous One" Milo defeated "the Future" Paul Jordane. In a non-tournament match, Team BTY defeated Team Pretty Boy in a 10-man elimination tag match.

Dirty South Pro Wrestling was in Brewton, AL, on February 14. Results: Cowboy Ray defeated "DDG" Lee Manning. Damon Black, w/"the Evil-Luscious Erotic Enchantress" Eva Black, vs. the 610 Kid ended in a double countout. Team Sexy defeated the Congregation in a no DQ match. "DDG" defeated Cowboy Ray & Short Bandit in a triple threat after Tiny Tiswell hit both Ray & Bandit with a chair. Roxas Payne defeated tag champion Zack Johnson, w/Kage. The Gothic Warrior, w/"the Naughty-Licious" Mystress & "the Devilish Deity" Danika Devilyn, defeated Johnny Rebel to retain the DSPW championship.

DSPW will be at the Knights of Columbus in Pensacola, FL, on February 20. Matches to be announced. Tickets are $10 ringside and $5 general. Doors open at 6:00 and bell time is at 7:00.

Lawrence Knight, Kaleb O'Neal & Tyson Tarver, w/Byron Saxton, defeated Maverick Darsow, Tank Mulligan & Brett DiBiase. Angela & Tiffany defeated Wesley Holiday & Jenny Cash. Drew McIntyre defeated Yoshitatsu. "Sweet" Papi Sanchez defeated Byron Saxton. Sheamus & Ryback defeated Johnny Prime & Joey Hennig. Sebastian Slater defeated Dolph Ziggler. Per a stipulation, the Mysterious Medics were to unmask had they lost the match to the Von Brauners.

It was announced that Hans Schmidt would be wrestling on the card on February 23, 1968, and that Waldo Von Erich would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.
