In a match for the tag championship, the Nightmare & Kyle Matthews defeated Bulldog Raines & Josh Stone by DQ when Stone hit referee Jeff McGowan with a chair. Lewis defeated Jack Evans > Bobby Cash & Arman Hussein defeated Tank Morgan & Butcher Brannigan > Round Robin Tag Team Match: the Super Infernos defeated Bill Dromo & Bob Armstrong and Chati Yokuchi & Fuji > Tarzan Tyler defeated Norvel Austin > Bill Watts defeated the Zodiac by disqualification > Georgia Heavyweight Title Match: Mr. Wrestling #2 defeated Sputnik Monroe to win title / Notes: If Norvel Austin had defeated Tarzan Tyler or at least gone the time limit of twenty minutes, he would have received a match with Jack Crawford immediately afterward. Crawford managed Tyler. The match between Bill Watts and the Zodiac had been built up for weeks, with Gordon Solie claiming long winning streaks for both men, with most emphasis being on a “five year undefeated streak” for Watts. The Zodiac was initially declared the winner, but it was learned immediately following the match that he had loaded a weapon into his mask, which he had used to head butt Watts for the finish. The decision was reversed as the Zodiac was disqualified. The match between Mr. Wrestling #2 and Sputnik Monroe was the final match of an ongoing tournament that had taken place over several weeks in Griffin.
