Bill McMinn, who got his start as a referee when Ray Gunkel was in charge, has learned he has cancer. McMinn was to go for more tests today, and could possibly undergo surgery tomorrow. McMinn moved to Ann Gunkel’s All-South Wrestling Alliance, and continued to referee through the 1970s. He later also worked with Jody Hamilton’s original
