Val Venis vs. Johnny Parisi w/ no entrance
Val gets on the mic before the match! Parisi stomps on Val to start, but Val gets his knee to the guts off the ropes followed by a Russian Legsweep. Chop in the corner by Val, but Parisi whips him into the corner and stomps away. Parisi suplex gets 2, and he goes to the chinlock. Val breaks out, but Parisi back body drop gets 2, and he goes back to stomping and drops some headbutts. Val blocks a suplex, and hits his Unlce Slam. Slugfest, won by Val. Clothesline, back elbow, and chop followed by a shoulder block for 2 from Val. Parisi gets 2 from a rollup with feet in the ropes. Parisi argues with the ref, and Val hits a spinebuster followed by the Money Shot for the win. *1/2
Diva Search review
We're joined by Kerwin White w/ golf cart and 50's style music. He talks about being a role model, and mentions Chavo is probably out looking to get a job at a taco stand. He hits the catchphrase.
We review Jericho vs. Cena fued, followed by Jericho vs. Patton.
Tyson Tomko vs. JP Parsinage
Tomko boots him down to start after some reversals, and the ref stops the match. Whatever. DUD
John Cena's "Right Now" video again.
We review Hogan/Shawn from Monday.
We run down the SummerSlam card.
Maria interviews Rene Dupree.
Rene Dupree vs. Matt Striker
Lockup, won by Rene. School boy by Striker gets 2. Drop toehold and armdrag by Striker. Rene clotheslines him down, and stomps away. Running rope choke. Snapmare and Rene goes to the chinlock. Rene pounds him on the outside. Back in, Rene chinlocks again. Striker fights back and a crossbody gets 2. Slam and he goes up for a top rope crossbody for 2. He gets caught in Rene's One and Only for the pin *
Overall thoughts: I liked the opener and main event for what they were, I only wish there were more matches this week.
