Superstar Wrestlers to Sign Autographs in Rochester, NY on April 26, 2009

CollectorFest Monthly offers patrons a meet/greet with Wrestlers from the past

(Rochester, New York) March 12, 2009 – Johnny Powers and Ox Baker will make rare appearances, meeting the public and signing autographs at CollectorFest Monthly, the only monthly sports cards and collectibles show in Western New York.

To celebrate the new 2009 location of this show, many wrestlers will be signing throughout the year - most for only $10.00 each. The signing sessions will run from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Webster Columbus Center 70 Barrett Drive, Webster, NY.  In addition to Powers and Baker signing on April 26 others planned for later in 2009 are Dominic DeNucci, Mick Foley, Abdullah the Butcher and George “The Animal” Steele. Information will be updated on the website www.collectorfestmonthly.com.  

Johnny Powers was a Wrestling Champion from the 1960’s – 1980’s in the IWA/NWF. He also brawled with Bruno Sammartino in Vince McMahon Seniors’ WWWF. He is a cofounder of the National Federation and he is a sports event promoter, producing television wrestling programs for syndication. He currently resides in Canada and is looking forward to visiting Rochester on April 26th.

Ox Baker wrestled with many wrestling federation’s such as: NWA/NWF/AWA and the WWWF.  He stood 6’ 5” and weighed 342 pounds and was estimated to beat over 8,000 opponents. He was also noted to be the world’s ugliest wrestler with his shaved head and dark, black, bushy eye brows and mustache. Today he publishes books ranging from children’s coloring books to cook books.

We’re honored to have both wrestlers spend time with CollectorFest Monthly and our patrons.

CollectorFest Monthly has been in existence in Rochester, NY since 2001. Each show runs 10am – 3pm. In addition to the Powers/Baker appearance, any CollectorFest Monthly patron who attends the show at noon receives a free gift from the generous dealers who gather each month to celebrate collecting.
