GEW Uprising 2008 will take place this May 31st in the city of Granby in Quebec. This year you can assist at this huge event with the other 700 to 1000 fans. Here's a gllimpse at the card:The ex-wrestler of the WWE and now commentator for TNA SYLVAIN GRENIER, will be present for the gala to go off against Van Hawk in a one on one match. This will be the third appearance for Grenier in a GEW ring. Sylvain joined the GEW as soon as he left the WWE last August. He will be back at the biggest show of the GEW. Sylvain will be signing autographs after the gala and will meet the fans.
His memorial photo will be sold at the price of 5$
Every title of the GEW will be on the line. The GEW title will be defended by Simon Sez against Magnifique Zero.
The provincial title will be at stake for the first time since last November as it will be suspended over the ring which wrestlers will to climb a ladder to claim the title in a TLC match. Six wrestlers will take part in this match: Zircon, Surfer Mitch, David Knox, Captain Jay Morgan, Matt Bash and Black Warrior. Only one will come out Provoncial champion.
Two women's title will be up for grab's. The GEW Diva title will be in play. Sweet Cherrie will team up with the Diva Killer DXtrem the defend her title against Josianne The Pussycat and Solid. The diva in the winning team will crown GEW Diva champion.
The woman's champion of Quebec of the ALF, The Perfect Caroline, will put her title on the line against Malicia Kalamity that is flawless at Uprising.
Other great matches are going to take place on that evening. Real will be in action against the best technical wrestler in Quebec, King Hammer. Marty Boston will face Sunny War Cloud in a single's match. You will also see a battle royal. The tag titles will be defended in a fatal four way. The team known as The Army will have a lot on their hands to retain their belts.
You can assist at Uprising on Saturday May 31st at 7:30pm. It will take place at the arena Leonard Grondin in Granby and the address is 601 Léon-Harmel. Granby is situated at 45 minutes from Montreal. It is possible to reserve your tickets at the pre-sale price of 12$ for seats in the stands. If you decide to pay at the door they will cost you 14$ and children that are 12years and younger the price is 5$.
