TANOI REED IS NOT THE ROCK’s COUSIN

Many wrestling sites are claiming that Tanoi Reed is The Rock's cousin, who is participating in the American Gladiators. But they didn't do their homework, that is the farthest from the truth. I wrote to Afa and asked him if the above was a relative. He said, WHO??? Tanoi Reed is not The Rock's cousin. Tanoai Reed Photos Afa asked, where do these websites get this stuff?? Then I went to TOA's my space page and wrote to him. Here is the myspace page of Toa Maivia, who is Afa's nephew and the Rock's cousin: I wrote to TOA, and this is the reply I just received from his my space page. Hello Georgiann! Unfortunately, no, I'm not him. (I didn't even know that there was going to be a new Gladiator with my name...I feel honored...lol.) However, I am Toa Maivia. My father was Peter Maivia and you know my uncle, Afa Anoa'i very well. As a matter of fact, you were the one who helped my wife and I see the IWS show in A.C. in 2001. Sincerely, Toa * * * * * * * * * * One thing I would like to promise our readers, is that what I post on wrestlingfigs.com, I take pride in posting. And I always try to confirm, if in doubt about anything I list. It's always better to be safe than sorry, because that's how rumors start all over the internet. And I happen to be lucky enough to be able to go to most of the wrestlers and get their quotes and the real truth.. I wish more wrestling websites would do the same. Once in a blue moon, a rumor slips by me too, or some false advertising, that I believed. But since those couple of bad Wrestling Conventions have taken place, I am being extra careful about plugging any convention at all. Once again thanks for supporting us. But here is his photo, I really don't think he looks like a Rock double. |
