……
Just a couple of weeks after Ted DiBiase Sr. became RAW's General Manager for the night, you found the man who was slapped across the face by his son, Teddy DiBiase Jr. preaching at a church about "Forgiveness". Ironic huh?
For those that may have never seen Mr. DiBiase speak, it truly is a moment to check out. He speaks of his life in pro wrestling, his success, appearing on the Arsenio Hall show, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous", his wrestling figures, PPV's, WrestleMania, and all that made him the character of, 'The Million Dollar Man". He mentioned how he road in Limos, had First Class Air to all events, and was literally on top of the mountain tops of superstardom, and had Main Event status.
Then, it took another turn. He told a story that any married husband would fear. He told the audience that his wife had found out of his lifestyle on the road. His wife had found out he had not been faithful to her, and that his reputation was not a good one for a "married man". When Ted was confronted by his wife he was doing, he was at a WWF event at the time and said to her, "I will be on the first flight home". She told him, "No you won't. You don't live here". Then hung up the phone. Ted can only say this in a way that makes you shake.
As his story went on, he told the very interested crowd of people that he had to humble himself in front of 5,000 kids at a special youth event. An event that was Christian in nature and geared to youth. Yet, it was Ted who was the first one to run to the front of the arena and bow before God and cried. Being recognized by everyone there, Ted mentioned he was embraced by all, and later was mentored by the man who invited him to this event.
His wife, Melanie, had forgiven him and Ted had given his life to God. So many details here, but amazing to listen too. After the service, he signed autographs for the fans, and took pictures. To see a man so big, to see a man so humble, was very moving and it really made the crowd think.
