I just wanted to write and give you a report on Terry Funk's signing in Levittown PA.
As you know, I've known Terry for more years then either of us care to remember, so i was looking forward to seeing him for the first time in about 3 years.
The crowd was decent, concidering I heard none of the local papers there advertised it. My guess is about 25-30 ppl, may be more but that's just a guess.
He was about an hour late, due to him being late getting to Allentown, as I told the people in line, i've been up and down the road with Terry for many years, and he's NEVER on time usually. I actually joked and asked 'are you sure Paul E isn't running this' since his shows never started on time.
Terry was great with the fans, took his time signing and joking with the fans as they came up to see him, making each fan there feel like they were the only ones who came out to see him. When it came time for the picture taking, 2 little boys, I assume brothers went up and since they all wouldn't fit in the picture, Terry grabbed a chair and placed them on it, so they could all fit in the picture.
I'm sure none of the fans went home unhappy, and they will treasure the moments they had with Terry for a long time, and remember his kindness and generousity..
