Hello Everyone! Hope you all are having a good week so far. This has been a real roller coaster year this year with a lot of ups and downs. Hoping and praying that next year in 2008 will be more positive for a lot of folks. The holidays are almost here already.Can you believe that ..lol. So with that, let's get started with the WFS.

Last night I heard that a dear friend of mine Joanie Daughtry Byrd passed away May 18 2007 from 2 1/2 year fight with cancer. She was a close to myself , my family,and several others in the wrestling community. Her son Justin just turned 18 and 6 weeks when she passed. Please keep her son and her family in your thoughts and prayers. I will never forget you and will always love you Joanie.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to Lex Luger and Candice Michelle this week. Glad to hear Candice will be  in action shortly as the fall she took this past Monday night's WWE RAW show was scary and could have been a lot worse. Also glad to see Lex Luger is making a recovery from a big scare this past weekend in San Francisco , California with his temporary paralysis. Wishing him a speedy recovery and good health.

Speaking of San Francisco, been getting calls and emails all weekend up to now from fans and friends who were there about the convention that took place at the cow palace. I won't mention the convention's name as it was far from and isn't worthy of calling it's name sake. Hearing the promoter ran from Scott Steiner was pretty amusing though...lol. Miss ya Scott! I, along with many other talents, either backed out or never was given any confirmation, nor ticket information to go. I was contacted several months to be a part of it. Through the months ahead, I have heard from other websites leary to advertise the event. Then a few months before it took place, my photo was strangely removed from their website with an email saying that I may not be a part of the event. When I tried to confirm and ask why I wasn't no longer being advertised. My response was rude, unprofessional, and was lied to about our original agreement. So at that point, I knew there was no point advertising an event on my websites that I wasn't going to be a part of and removed it from my schedule. I feel really bad for the talents, vendors, and the fans involved who got ripped off from this debacle. I do hope the Bay area can bounce back from this and put on great events again. However, it was nice to hear the talents being professional enough to have the Friday show and then go out there and sign autographs and greet the fans .The Ring of Honor putting on a good show that Sunday was very classy as well. Was great to hear about Tammy "Sunny" Sytch coming to the aid of the epileptic fan during the convention as well. Love ya Tammy! Thank you to Lady Amazon, Baby Doll, Animal, Steiners, Barbarian, Ernest Miller, Austin, and few others for the shout outs over the weekend as well.

Speaking of shout outs, giving on out to my friend Gregory Helms who has been sidelined with neck surgery and is training for his return back to the WWE. Get better soon my friend. My friend Jake Roberts has an upcoming book to be out soon. Will be a must read for any fan. Chris Jericho's and Batista's new books should be interesting reads as well. Shout outs to my friends Fantasia and Mike James. Shout outs to my UWE "Classic" tag team partner Lord Devore. Also to my friend Laflecha and his luchadore students on their upcoming events.

Recently won the ACPW championship for the third time in a great match with former champion Hangtime at the Sam E. Gilbert Tournament show a few weeks ago in Salemburg, North Carolina. Looking forward to defending the championship November 10th in Kenansville, North Carolina. Also looking forward to the upcoming NWA-MSW title match coming up at West Virginia in November. Looking forward to seeing all the great towns in West Virginia and North Carolina in the month of November.

"It was WCW Nitro and 3 time karate champion Ernest "The Cat" Miller was in the ring dancing as I made my way to the stage. We began to issue the challenge for the upcoming Superbrawl PPV as I explained if he couldn't produce James Brown at the PPV that he would be my personal "lackie" and would carry my bags and drive me around. Of course on the flip side, if he did produce Mr. Brown, I would have to listen to any music he would play for me. (Well we all know the result of that one. James Brown appeared and then...lol.. the crazy Maestro). Well, from what I hear, Ernest after the promo didn't quite understand what I said and had to go look up the term lackie in the dictionary..lol. What a fun and entertaining feud that was!

I just want to tell you fans what a class act Road Warrior Animal is.  He left his son's game in Ohio to go to S.F.  He was only suppose to be there for one day.  As Ray stated in his update, he got Joe to stay for the fans who came from far away to see him.  Joe honored all the tickets that were presented to him, anyone who didn't have a ticket he made them pay for the signed photo's.

But Animal did NOT get paid for his appearance at this so called Convention.  So I just want to say Bravo Joe, your the best.

I just got off the phone with Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams.  He told me he has never been so disappointed in the business as he was this past weekend.  All the years he worked for Japan, his contract was a handshake, and he never once got stiffed on a payment.  He thought Chris was a good guy, here is the reason why.  Chris called Doc. when that other promoter in Indiana messed with Doc.  Chris said, I will send you a ticket for you to go, and Doc said, thanks but no, better I stay home with my family.  Doesn't sound like this promoter is on the up and up.  So Doc thought to himself what a nice guy Chris is to offer that.  Well guess what, Dr's check from Chris BOUNCED !!!

Doc is having some more surgery in November, he didn't need the stress of this past weekend.  Doc wanted me to let the promoters, churches, etc know that he would like to be booked for wrestling seminars or church testimonies, write to me and I will forward your requests to Doc.  [email protected]
