News on upcoming events, latest figures, Wrestling seminar, etc……

I hope everyone has a happy and blessed Easter and that everyone is healthy and enjoying this beautiful weather. I wanted to use this month's column to talk about some of the things that happened in April, as well as some of the things we are looking forward to in June and July.

I was recently at an event at the Franklin High School in Franklin, PA. and I met some loyal Chatterbox readers. I want to say a special hello to them, especially Todd and Cookie, who are really nice people and welcomed us with open arms.

I want to thank my former student and close friend, WWE superstar Dave Batista for taking time out of his busy life to come and support the Uso's Foundation. His appearance on April 14th was very successful in our fundraising efforts, and we can't thank him enough for his loyalty and support.

There was a time during his appearance when I looked outside and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that people were lined up for blocks and blocks in the rain waiting to see Batista.
Batista himself was fighting a cold, and was asked several times if he needed a break, but he didn't want to hold up the line, and took the time to make each fan feel special. He is truly a class act. It touches my heart to know that my students who have gone on to make great success do not forget where they came from, and one by one they find the time to help us becasue they believe in us and the Usos foundation. For that, I can't thank them enough. If you like to see pictures from the Snitsky & Batista appearances, you can view them on our website at http://www.usosfoundation.org/

May 1st marks the Grand Opening of my newest Wild Samoan Training Center, which is located at 1319 Linden Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  We are now accepting enrollment as space is always very limited. This will mark 17 years that I have been training students in the state of Pennsylvania. I started training students in the early 80s in Florida, and when I became part of the WWE family, I moved to Connecticut where I continued training, then I settled in Pennsylvania. I am very proud of the success of my school.  I think my record speaks for itself with many of my students going on to better themselves in this great sports of ours. And the best thing is some of my students went on to make their dream come true as WWE superstars. I don't want to forget to mention the hundreds of kids who didn't make it to the big league, but whose careers began under my guidance.

June is going to be an exciting month, as I will be at the Chiller Theatre convention in New Jersey on June 2nd and 3rd, along with wrestling greats Bruno Sammartino and Rocky Johnson.  I'm excited about this event because conventions are a great way to meet up with the legends of my era who I spent so much time working with, traveling, and living on the road. This is the main thing that I enjoy about appearing at conventions, and of course the fact that we get to meet our fans one on one as we reminisce about the old days.

I want to thank all the fans who have been purchasing our Wild Samoan wrestling figures, and I want to share with you that our newest figures are scheduled to be released by the end of the summer, and will feature my brother and I with the legendary Captain Lou, who is our longtime friend and manager. The one and only "often-imitated but never duplicated" Captain Lou Albano.

I'm also looking forward to June 4th, as another one of my kids and former graduate students, Billy Kidman, will return home to Allentown to wrestle on our WXW on June 4th at the Mountainville Memorial Hall, followed by a special wrestling clinic and seminar and Q & A at my training center Monday June 5th from 5 to 8:30pm.

More information on any of the above and up coming events can be found on our web site:

Until next month, thank you Georgie for allowing me to get the word out to my fans and to your loyal Chatterbox fans for your support.

God Bless....
