The World Wide Wrestling Alliance returns to Hazleton, Pa on June 6th at Terrace Plaza (Formerly “The Pocono Market Fair”) 601 Poplar St at 7:30 P.M. Hazleton has always had a rich history with Pro Wrestling. Legends such as Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino and Andre the Giant graced the Mountain City with their presence and talents. These and many more athletes brought about countless nights of quality entertainment through the years. Even some of todays biggest stars were trained in the city. So after recently running successful shows at Bishop Hafey and St. Joe’s Gym, President Dino Sanna has decided to bring the action back on a regular basis.
President Sanna has decided in celebration of this exciting premiere that it would take someone a bit “Extreme” to kick off the festivities properly. Former ECW star “Balls Mahoney” will be invading the World Wide Wrestling Alliance that evening and his agenda hasn’t yet been determined. Only time will tell with what he has in store for all! July 18th will be a historic date as local fans will be granted a very special treat. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat Jr. will make his Hazleton and Northeast debut. The son of the legendary WWE “Hall of Famer” plans to make a strong first impression and showcase his incredible talents for all attending fans.
This summer will surely sizzle with all of the hot action in store! Come out and be a part of these exciting premiere events as the WWWA starts a new chapter in Hazleton.
