January 23rd 2006 - USA Pro Wrestling, Inc./ UXW will be returning to the Amazura Concert Hall in Jamaica, New York in less than 2 weeks on Friday Night, February 3, 2006! The Amazura Concert Hall is located at 91-12 144th Place, Jamaica, NY 11435. Doors open at 7 PM with a bell time of 8 PM. This will be our first event of 2006 and our return to Queens for the first time in almost a year! Their will be an Xtreme TV Taping at 7:15 PM. UXW President Frank Goodman and UXW officials are pleased to announce several matches for this event.
The UXW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP will be on the line as the newly-crowned champion, "The Man Beast" RHINO defends the championship against the returning "Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal" SABU!! Rhino has rejuvenated his career in the past 6 months and looks to continue his dominance in his first title defense. Sabu, returning to UXW for the first time in over a year and a half, and is looking to start out on top, and win the UXW Heavyweight Championship for his second time. Who will walk out as champion? Find out February 3rd.
On February 3rd, a man who has had many crimson-soaked encounters with the likes of Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, and Cactus Jack will finally make his UXW debut. This "Madman from The Sudan" is set to do battle with another man who is no stranger to violent matches as he is known as the "Hardcore Icon". This match promises to be a blood bath as ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER takes on THE SANDMAN for the first time ever!
Last week, UXW Commissioner, Sean McCaffrey, with the permission of UXW President Frank Goodman, stripped Mike "The Shooter" Kruel of the UXW United States Championship. UXW was informed earlier this month that Mike Kruel would not be able to defend his UXW United States Championship on 2/3, as he has another booking that day. Since a double-shot is out of the question, and since Kruel was already given one free pass, he was stripped. As a result, the UXW United States title is now considered vacant and McCaffrey has come up with a match to declare a new champion. On February 3rd, at the Amazura Concert Hall, UXW will host the FIRST EVER TABLES, LADDERS AND CHAIRS ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH for the vacant UXW United States Championship. The rules of the match are as follows:
- A random drawing will be held before the show, with each wrestler getting a number.
- Entries will occur every 60 seconds.
- To be eliminated, you have to either be put through a table or be thrown over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor.
- The last two wrestlers remaining in the match will then fight for the United States title under ladder match rules, as the US championship will be hanging 15 feet above the ring.
PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE: Homicide, Trent Acid, Crowbar, Vordell Walker, Ghanda Rhea Akbar, Bison Bravado, Reefer, Havok, JD Michaels, April Hunter, New Dynamite Kid, Heavy Metal, Candy, Greatness, and more!
