In Canada, they call him a Coach.  In TNA, they call him a producer.  Regardless of how you know him, Scott D'Amore is one of wrestling's brightest and youngest backstage talents.  At 33, Scott handles the company's fairly new knockout division.  Now in a 64 minute shoot interview. Coach D'Amore joins ClubWWI.com to talk about it all.

From his experiences on TNA creative to the process he goes through to book the knockouts alongside Dutch Mantel, D'Amore holds nothing back in his discussion.  Other topics you can hear about during his 64 minute ClubWWI.com shoot include: How He Got Hulk Hogan To Go To Edge's Wedding, What Separates TNA Knockouts From WWE Divas, Arguments With Jeff Jarrett, TNA's Critics, The Back and Forth Fan Chants in Orlando, Being On TNA's Creative Team, Why He Didn't Want To Be On TV, Missing a 12 Grade English Exam To Wrestling The Steiners, Training Alex Shelley, Why He Didn't Want to Be on TV, The Unique Booking Setup of Memphis, John Cena, Booking the WWA PPV, The Surprise For Jarrett and Sting When They Got There, The Rock, and tons more

One topic that went along with Scott's youth was this position within TNA.  Hired at 28 years old, Scott had some stiff competition.  He told James Guttman about the two men up for his spot originally.

"The experiences, you know, WCW, BCW, to the WWA is what lead to when I was 28 years old, there were three people that Jeff Jarrett was considering to be his assistant.  You know, his agent, producer, whatever in the early Nashville days.  It was myself, Barry Windham, and Mike Graham."

Guttman responds with a "wow," citing that it's pretty good company to be in.  Scott continues:

"When he told me that on the phone, I was like, yeah.  Well.  Take care.  He was like, 'No, no, no, no, no.  There is something good to the fact that you're young and not tainted by bitterness, you know, the old WCW attitude…I want somebody that wants it and thinks TNA, not anything else."

Scott then reveals the second reason that he ended up with the TNA spot and describes his first trip to the offices, including what he did that day.  You don't want to miss your chance to get an education from Coach D'Amore. The full ClubWWI.com shoot includes tons of backstage stories and fascinating thoughts on today's wrestling scene.
