THIS WEEK IN SPORTS WITH TRACI
By Ross Forman

Traci is having one helluva sporting week, which is just fine with her.

It started April 1 in Martinsville, Va., when she posed for pictures with NASCAR stars, such as Kyle Petty, Scott Riggs and Michael Waltrip, at the TNA Wrestling show, run in conjunction with the UWF.

Two days later, Traci and "Coach" Scott D'Amore from Team Canada were special guests at the Nashville Predators game against Columbus.

She was in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Thursday and Friday for minor league baseball games for the Class-A Pelicans (an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) who play host to Wilmington (Boston affiliate).

She was joined Friday by America's Most Wanted (Cowboy James Storm and Wildcat Chris Harris), and Traci threw out the ceremonial First Pitch.

"I love sports; this has been a great week,” Traci said. “I've been right in my element."

Traci is a longtime fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays, and is an adopted Nashville Predators fan, she said.

Her favorite players include Alex Gonzalez, Erik Hinske and Todd Bertuzzi, among others. Her all-time favorite Blue Jay was former catcher Ernie Whitt.

"It was a good (hockey) game and there were lots of kids there, which was nice to see. The Predators are now my adopted team," she said.

So, Traci, what about throwing out the ceremonial First Pitch?

"I was very excited for that, but also very nervous," said Traci, who previously played softball and will throw side-arm.
