TOYS FOR TOTS AUTOGRAPH SESSION REPORT

Antonio Thomas Toys for Tots Autograph Session Report - NECW Continue to Help Cause
 
            On Sunday, November 25 New England Championship Wrestling held a Toy for Tots autograph session with local wrestlers Matt Storm, Brian Cairo, Evan Siks, and former member of the “Heart Breakers” WWE and TNA star Antonio Thomas.  The signing took place at West Real Estate in Wilmington, MA.  The autograph session went from 12 noon till 2pm.  Fans started to arrive just after noon.  At that time Antonio was running a little late because of traveling from the day prior to wrestling event.  The way the signing went was that for either a $5 cash donation or a new unwrapped toy the fans would get a signed photo and could get photos with the wrestlers.
 
            The signing began at noon with Matt Storm, Brian Cairo, Evan Siks, and wrestling historian and owner of New England Championship Wrestling Sheldon Goldberg.  Fans lined up to meet the stars of NECW.  Many fans asked questions about and the different wrestlers gladly answered them.  Sheldon Goldberg is very educated in wrestling knowledge and told different stories about many of wrestling greatest legends.  All of the fans hung around at the signing, talked about wrestling, and watched wrestling on the television as they waited for Antonio Thomas.  Not one fan left the building.
 
            After a short time the former “Heart Breaker” Antonio Thomas arrived and greeted the fans.  Antonio Thomas apologized for being late but all the fans understood.  Thomas signed for all the fans that waited for him and then the line continued.  
 
            As more fans arrived the wrestlers seemed to be having just as much fun as the fans were.  All the stars were more the humble when they were thanked by the fans.  The wrestlers just said it is a chance to help out the Toys for Tots charity.  The 2pm came and went but the wrestlers did not seem to care as they continued to sign for the fans and sign for fans that did mail-ins.  Roughly around 2:30pm Antonio, Evan Siks and Brian Cairo left the autograph room to watch some of the matches that were being played on the television.  
 
            Sheldon Goldberg, Matt Storm, Evan Siks, Brian Cairo, and Antonio Thomas were given awards by a marine for donating there time to help out Toys for Tots.  A few more photos were taken and the wrestlers left thankful they took part in the toy drive.

            New England Championship Wrestling returns to live action with a special Friday night event, November 30th at the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA with an 8:00 PM bell time for THE HARDER THEY FALL.
            In the main event, NECW Triple Crown Champion, "Straight Edge" Brian Fury faces his biggest challenge to date, as he faces Big Rick Fuller.  Fuller’s new manager, Brian Cairo made the challenge to Fury last month in Quincy.  Fury, who has never backed away from a challenge, readily accepted.  Fuller has long made it known that he is out to win the Triple Crown Championship and will stop at nothing to attain that goal.  Fury will be out weighed, out powered and out experienced in what promises to be an epic battle.
            Former WWE and TNA star Antonio “The Promise” Thomas returns to NECW action as he faces the former Canadian Superstar, J Busta.
            Another first round match in the NECW Tag Team Championship Tournament will take place as former NECW Tag Team Champions, The Wild Boys return to NECW to face The Baker Boys.
            In a World Women’s Wrestling feature match, Tanya Lee, in her first match since her split with the Dynasty of Champions, takes on Mistress Belmont.
            Former NECW Triple Crown Champion, D.C. Dillinger has announced that he will address the issue of “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion ducking the Dynasty of Champions.  But Dillinger will have his hands full, as he faces former PWF Heavyweight Champion, Jason Blade.  
            “The Human Nightmare” Evan Siks will be appearing and Michael Sain will be in the building at the same time.   Plus "The Talent" T. J. Richter, “Nightmare” Nick Steel makes his Quincy debut and much more to be announced.
            To continue to raise funds and toys for Toys for Tots NECW will be holding a special raffle with many rare signed items by many of the top wrestlers.  Some items include; signed photos by Killer Kowalski, Baby Doll, Antonio Thomas, 2 Cold Scorpio, Daivari, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg, more items to be up for raffle on Friday, November 30 in Quincy, MA.
            Tickets are now on sale for this event at all FYE locations and at KC’s Sports Card Sport (33 Temple Street) in Quincy, MA.  Card Subject to Change.
