Two charged with trying to wrestle away WWE chairs

At The Great American Bash Sunday night, the two entered an employees-only area of the Uniondale venue at 10:55 p.m., and "proceeded to remove chairs" belonging to the WWE, a Monday police report said.

The two had already walked out with the chairs when the WWE worker saw them and tried to stop them in the parking lot, police said.

Vandewater then hit the 33-year-old worker with the bottle, causing a cut to his ear, then bit him, police said.

Police arrived and arrested both suspects. The victim did not require immediate medical attention.

The men face arraignment Monday at First District Court, Hempstead.

Keith Powell, 20, and Timothy Vandewater, 20, are accused of removing chairs belonging to the World Wrestling Federation.
