NWS SCORES MAJOR TRIUMPH GETTING MR. WONDERFUL PAUL ORNDORFF FOR MANASQUAN EVENT ON DECEMER 3rd

Absence make the heart grow fonder they say...they are most probably right as another packed house is anticipated on Saturday night, December 3rd at Manasquan's venerable hot bed of pro wrestling...the Elks Lodge, located at 17 Stockton Lake Boulevard...as National Wrestling Superstars comes homes to one of its Jersey Shore roosts.   And if absence makes the heart grow fonder, then home is where the heart is as the heart and soul of this all star packed line up will be the return to the wrestling scene and a special guest appearance by none other than Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, which is definitely the coup of the year for any wrestling organization. And Orndorff probably said it best when he said “any organization that can stage nearly 70 events in one year and most of them a mixture of contemporary and old school theatrics is the place for me”.  NWS management agrees whole-heartedly.
Also on the bill will be a return grudge match as TNA star Simon Diamond takes on his former ECW co-hort John Balls Mahoney plus appearances by some of the top names on the indy wrestling circuit today.
Bell time is 7:35pm. Tickets are priced at only $16 adults, $14 children and seniors and are available by calling 732-888-1704. www.nwswrestling.com

Tickets are $10  at the door. Already signed are TJ Bratt, Zack Mercury, EZ Ryder, Mentallo, Jean Marius, Marcus Messier, Chris Dion, Howie Feltersnatch, Oz & Gibby Guerrero
Promoter Bobby Jay, who promoted TRCW from April, 2000 to April 2003, running nearly 300 shows says that TRCW developed alot of great Indy talent as well as brought in former WWE Superstars Tatanka, Jim Neidhart and the very last match of the late British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith.
Jays says he does not want to be competition for other local groups, rather an alternative, running "spot shows" in markets not ran by other groups, giving local talent a chance to work with other talent other than the same crew they work with in their "home" promotion as well as giving fans a chance to see some great Indy talent and possibly some former WWE Superstars as well.

- AWF Champion Dean Draven defended his AWF Australasian Championship successfully in his recent tour of the USA, defeating Ricky Romero on 24 September in Pinellas Park, Florida for FPWA, and downing Scott Davis in Dover, Florida for the AWF Florida promotion. Draven was impressive in his victories over the US independents and proved that the top Australian wrestlers can match and better their US independent counterparts. Congratualations are in due once again as Draven is still the AWF Champion.

- Final Battle 2005 on 3 December will be the last show for the AWF 2005 season and will be a great chance for AWF fans to catch up with our wrestlers before the new year. This will be a fun show with lots of suprises whilst maintaining the usual intensity of the dojo setting. Show starts at 5pm and will set the stage for the 2006 season. Be on hand for the matches, mayhem and year awards, as this is going to be a great send off to the year.
- TNT will be holding the annual Dreamcamp from 19 - 22 January. For all those who have wanted to get in the ring and see what pro-wrestling is all about this is your chance. For ages 12 and over this camp is a fun way to get some wrestling basics and see if you have what it takes! - TNT and Mark Hilton recently wrestled as part of the "International Assault Tour" of Australia, featuring American independent wrestling stars. TNT was able to obtain a victory in Sydney in his three way match over "The Future" Frankie Kazarian and Super Dragon, whilst Hilton put up valiant performances against the much larger former WWE collosus Nathan Jones. Both TNT and Hilton proved why Australian wrestling can be proud of it's talent.
Other Australian talent on the tour included Lee Star, Lobo, Nathan Jones and referees CB Cochran and Daniel Beaumont.
AWF would like to send a big thanks to its boys who worked ring crew and behind the scenes, and made the event work smoothly.
- Scotty Club continues to down all comers in defenses of his Young Lion's Championship. Recently Club has defeated The Captain and American Bling Bling in 3 Way bouts, and is preparing for his biggest challenge to date on 3 December, the red hot Steve Ravenous. Ravenous has been tearing up the competition with a recent win over former YLC Kid Dynamite at Canberra, and some sneak attacks on Mark Hilton. This will be a great end of year battle no doubt, and will be a fine depiction of the quality up and coming Young Lion's talent in the AWF.
- AWF would like to wish CB Cochran well in his future ventures as he is leaving wrestling. Cochran was AWF referee from 2002 and was the head of the ring crew behind the scenes. AWF would like to extend its thanks for all of the hard work and energy you put into the biz. Take care mate. - AWF thanks EPW Perth and CPW Canberra for their help in presenting recent events in Western Australia and the ACT.

- Former WWE talent Jesus Aguilera competed in AWF rings in October battling TNT in Perth, WA on 14 October and Mark Hilton in Canberra, ACT on 15 October. 16 October saw TNT and Jesus conduct the Get in The Ring Wrestling Camp at the AWF Dojo in Minto, and in the evening the two teamed up, and Jesus was pinned by the team of Mark Hilton and Billy Flyswat. After the bout TNT and Jesus had an in ring blow up and the two have challenged each other to face off again anywhere in the world. 2006 may see this rivalry blow up into an international war. Stay tuned.
- AWF wishes Melbourne, Victoria based Mad Dog Mcrea and referee Daniel Beaumont a successful tour of Japan with the Big Japan promotion through December and January. TNT will be visiting Japan in the near future also. - Recently Major Impact Wrestling in Queensland has hosted The Captain and Teen Wolf on their Sothport events. If you were at the first revolucha show, you might remember the large camera crane being used throughout the night. If you saw the
IWR Television Commerical, the footage used was taken from this Official DVD release. Some fans voiced disapproval at the original commentary team, well this new Official DVD release features a brand new commentary team of Red Davis and Harvey Schmitz! So even if you already purchased the video or DVD through Smart Mark Video, this remastered DVD will be well worth the retail price of $15!
