Also one show postponement…..

GCW Shows Postponed
Gateway Championship Wrestling had scheduled a pair of
events for the month of August; however, those shows
have been postponed until further notice.

GCW is having the same problem as another area
promotion, the Lethal Wrestling Alliance(LWA), as far
as licensing with the Missouri State Athletic
Commission goes.  Gateway Championship Wrestling hopes
to get everything in order very soon to put on the
best possible show for the Midwest wrestling fans!

Championship Wrestling returns to Kingsport, TN at the Civic Auditorium this Saturday Night (July 29) for the Finale of the 2006 Summer Bash Tour... Bell Time for this event is 8:00 PM.... However, there will be special TV Taping at 7:30 PM as well. So be sure to get there early. Doors will open around 6:45.

Front Row Advance Tickets are available now at Choppers Inc. Tattoos & Body Piercings on Ft. Henry Dr. in Kingsport and also at UFO Video at the "Stateline" in Weber City... Tickets for this event are going fast, so be sure to get your right now.

Here is the card:

CW vs. IRW
Championship Wrestling's Robbie Cassidy
vs.
Iron Ring Wrestling's David Flair w/ Jeff Tankersley
--- At Championship Wrestling's last event in Kingsport, back on June 17, IRW made their presence known when Jeff Tankersley, David Flair and others attacked Tony Givens, Robbie Cassidy & Wayne Adkins... Championship Wrestling vowed to show up at Fun Fest and steal the show... Not only did CW steal the show, at the end of the night they took over the ring as Tankersley and Flair scattered... Now Tankersley is sending David Flair after Robbie Cassidy for revenge.

National Heavyweight Title Match
Champion, Ray Idol
vs.
The Winner of a 15 Man Cyclone Stampede
--- Ray Idol has almost made it through Summer Bash as Champion. Many people said that Idol wouldn't be able to handle defending his title on every single card against a different opponent every night. But Idol has proven his critics wrong... Now the last National Heavyweight Title Shot of the Summer Bash Tour will be decided by a 15 Man Cyclone Stampede Battle Royal.

Southern States Tag Team Title Re-Match
Champions, KMF Inc. (Chris Richards & Steve Fury) w/ John Hawkins & Domino
vs.
The 1st Family (Beau James & KC Thunder) w/ Dawn Renee
--- At Fun Fest these 2 teams squared off for the titles in a match were no winner was declared... Now they will battle once again to settle the score.

TV Title Match
This is Givens' Last Shot at the TV Title!
Champion, "Notorious" Nick Hammonds w/ Moe Jenkins
vs.
Kingsport's Own, Tony Givens
--- A few weeks back on Championship Wrestling TV, Tony Givens seemingly had Nick Hammonds defeated for the TV Title when Moe Jenkins broke up the pin and caused the DQ.... Givens has been given a rematch with the stipulation that if fails to the win the title, then he will never get another shot at the TV Title again.

Title vs. Title
U.S. Jr. Heavyweight Champion, "Sensational" Wayne Adkins
vs.
Cuban Cruiserweight Champion, Cuban Assassin # 2
--- A while back on CW TV, Wayne Adkins issued an open challenge to any Jr. Heavyweight Wrestler in the world to come to Championship Wrestling and try to take his title... His challenge has been answered by the Cuban Assassin # 2. In addition to being the Cuban Cruiserweight Champion, Cuban Assassin # 2 has held titles throughout the States and in Canada as well... This should be Adkins' toughest challenge to date as US Jr. Heavyweight Champion.

IWC presents NO EXCUSES 2
Saturday August 5th, 2006
Court Time Sports Center - 95 Enterprise Dr., Elizabeth PA 15037
BELLTIME: 7:30 PM
PRESS CONFERENCE: 5:00 til 7:00 PM
Ringside Tickets: $20
General Admission Tickets: $15
Kids Under 10 General Admission Tickets: $7

Press Conference Tickets: $7

No Excuses was IWC's biggest event of 2005. With its 2005  IWC Match of the Year Main Event of AJ Styles vs. Matt Hardy, debuts of Matt Sydal & Delirious, milestones like the first time women stepped in the ring in IWC during a mixed tag between Glenn Spectre & Sumie Sakai vs Chris Hero & Daizee Haze, and the largest crowd ever to attend a Pittsburgh-area IWC event... how can IWC top last year? With charisma.... Captain Charisma, that is! Christian Cage makes his IWC debut! PLUS, IWC Promoter Norm Connors has promised a double cage War Games match! Check out this huge line-up!

WarGames Double Cage Match!

TEAM IWC (IWC Heavyweight Champion Dennis Gregory, M-Dogg20, Sterling James Keenan, & "Balls Hot" Troy Lords) vs. THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE (Shirley Doe, Dean Radford, HENTAI, Sebastian Dark, & the monster Abyss)
After he threw in the towel on July 7th at Uncaged Fury, IWC Promoter Norm Connors guaranteed IWC Champion Dennis Gregory a chance for revenge, as August 5th, IWC Wrestling presents "No Excuses 2" featuring the ultimate cage match, in true classic "War Games" fashion, as the largest cage in IWC history will be constructed around TWO rings, giving both sides the ultimate battleground. With Dean Radford now on the Unholy Alliance team and Jon Bolen reporting to OVW for his WWE developmental deal, Connors had to enlist a different army on behalf of IWC. "Balls Hot" Troy Lords threw his hat in the ring at Uncaged Fury as the mystery 4th member of Team IWC until the Unholy Alliance reinjured his knee and took him out of commission for the night. This time, Lords gets his revenge inside the double cage! M-Dogg20 was a surprise entrant in the Uncaged Fury match on July 7th. Having been a member of the IWC roster since July 2002, M-Dogg has more seniority than many on the current roster in IWC, and is willing to fight for his company! The final member of Team IWC was the ultimate surprise: Sterling James Keenan. After a sudden departure this past spring, not many expected to see SJK in IWC ever again. But he has returned to finish the war that Shirley Doe started when he turned his back on SJK and IWC back in October at Revengeance 2! Despite the 5-on-4 odds in favor of the Alliance, IWC is coming to fight and the Unholy Alliance is in for a night of trouble!

"Captain Charisma" CHRISTIAN CAGE vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES
Last year at IWC's No Excuses, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles took on WWE star Matt Hardy in their first-ever meeting. The match, which many are calling not only a Match of the Year in IWC but in all of wrestling, brought over 700 fans to the Monroeville Sports Center for this once-in-a-lifetime oppertunity. This year, IWC is pleased to announce that on August 5th, 2006, IWC will see AJ STYLES taking on CHRISTIAN CAGE. This is a rare chance to see a former 3-time WWE Intercontinental, WWE Light Heavyweight, WWE European, WWE Hardcore, and 9-time WWE Tag Team Champion live in the Pittsburgh area! Cage has decided to only take a few bookings across the independent circuit, and IWC is one of them! IWC officials have decided that after last year's historic match-up, the best possible opponent for "Captain Charisma" will be the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and two-time IWC Super Indy Champion, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles.

IWC SUPER INDY TITLE MATCH
DELIRIOUS with DAIZEE HAZE defends against "Fabulous" JOHN MCCHESNEY
"Fabulous" John McChesney is on a hot streak this year. He went to time limit draws with "Balls Hot" Troy Lords and Low Ki, pinned "Sweet N Sour" Larry Sweeney, pinned both 2004 IWC Newcomers of the Year Jason Gory &  Shiima Xion, and defeated Super Indy Tournament 1, 2, and 3 winners HENTAI, Colt Cabana, &  Chris Sabin. After his time-limit draw with the man who pinned him for the Super Indy Title, Low Ki, at Uncaged Fury, IWC officials decided McChesney deserved one more shot at the Super Indy Title. So he will get his chance against the current champion and Super Indy V winner Delirious. Delirious, as always, will be accompanied by his manager Daizee Haze. At first, Haze appeared at ringside with him as an innocent bystander who acted as a translator. But during his last two title defenses, Haze has been more than instrumental in Delirious' victories. She hopped on ringside as a distraction in his defense against Troy Lords. Then at Uncaged Fury, Haze tripped up Christopher Daniels which directly led to Delirious pinning Daniels with a small package. McChesney was able to shut down the interference of Chris Maverick in his match with Shiima Xion, but will he be able to withstand the one-two punch of Delirious & Daizee?

IWC TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
THE CLEVELAND MAFIA (J-Rocc & Raymond Rowe) vs. JASON GORY & SHIIMA XION
Shiima Xion & Jason Gory impressed IWC officials in their first outing as a tag team. Their first match as a team occurred at Uncaged Fury when they took on Chikara's Campeones de Parejas, the Kings of Wrestling. Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli took it to the new team and eventually came out on top with a double team Ricola Bomb. But not before Gory & Xion got several near-falls and double team maneuvers of their own. Not only that, but Xion also discouraged his personal business manager "The Prophet of Profit" Chris Maverick against interfering on his behalf, causing Maverick to leave ringside in a huff. Taking all this into consideration, IWC officials have decided to grant the new team an IWC Tag Team Title shot against J-Rocc & Raymond Rowe. Rocc & Rowe have been steamrolling over the competition lately. During their title defense against the Gambino Brothers at Uncaged Fury, a chairshot from Jimmy DeMarco to Rowe didn't faze him, and seemed to only enrage the suplex machine. Rowe dropped Marshall Gambino on his head with a half & half suplex and scored the victory. Will Gory & Xion be able to topple the machine and his loudmouthed companion from Cleveland?

UNCAGED FURY REMATCH
"Sweet N Sour" LARRY SWEENEY vs. RICKY REYES
"Sweet N Sour" Larry Sweeney was forced to battle the Rottweiler, the Havana Pitbull, the always-dangerous Ricky Reyes. Sweeney had no doubt never faced someone quite as intimidating as Reyes before, but was able to sneak away with a win and his livelihood thanks to a pinfall with his feet on the ropes. Ricky Reyes was furious afterwards, and petitioned IWC officials for a rematch. His request has been granted, so at No Excuses 2, Reyes will get one more chance against Sweeney!

A new SEXUAL HARASSMENT make their debut vs. THE GAMBINO BROTHERS (Mickey & Marshall Gambino)!
In a shocking announcement, IWCwrestling.com has learned that August 5th will see the debut of a brand new SEXUAL HARASSMENT! For fans who may or may not remember, the original Sexual Harassment was one of the greatest tag teams in the Pittsburgh area. Winners of several tag team titles in the area, including 4 reigns as the IWC Tag Team Champions. In addition to those honors, Harassment were voted Tag Team of the Year several times. But, both members of Harassment have been long gone from IWC and wrestling altogether, respectively. Who is going to be carrying on the legacy, and name, of this great tag team? Whoever it may be, they will have an uphill battle ahead of them as they have been booked against former IWC Tag Team Champions, The Gambino Brothers Moving Company! Mickey & Marshall Gambino are not about to let a new team come into the company where they've dominated the tag team scene for months and take over. IWC's sizzling hot tag team division gets even hotter as the Gambinos take on the new Sexual Harassment!

Plus, the NO EXCUSES PRESS CONFERENCE!
The Q&A Guests Include: Christian Cage, AJ Styles, and Dennis Gregory (just days before he's deployed to Iraq)! Plus, the fans at the Press Conference will get a special autograph session with "Captain Charisma" Christian Cage!

PLUS all the fun & surpises you've come to expect from IWC!
