We received a note about Elliot Maron, who took ring jackets at MSG dating back to the 70s, including hosting the first wrestling call-in talk show with Happy Holiday. He has been hospitalized the past week after major surgery, removing his leg with complications from diabetes.
He's been transferred to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn and if any of you who remember him would like to call, Elliot can be called at 718-630-8070.
He was thrilled that Bruno Sammartino and Afa called him.
