Groundbreaking
"Street Crime Wrestling Drama" Urban Wrestling Federation Returns To Pay Per View this month with “Hood Killa!”

With Lucha Underground being praised for it's "telenovela" style approach to pro wrestling, fans will now have a chance to catch pro wrestling's original drama series, Urban Wrestling Federation, as the UWF has returned monthly to Pay Per View this month!

The original six UWF pay per views were so jammed packed --they happened faster than a drive by shooting.  The new UWF PPV installments return to the scene of the crimes and give viewers a chance to see stories and beefs unfold in a new light - with never before seen program episodes.

The drama in the Urban Wrestling Federation finds hip hop rapper street bosses pitting their goons and thugs against each other in an attempt to not only one up one another for that championship belt bragging rights - but to get that good old fashioned paper--cash money!  When Steve "The Hustler" Karel proposes
putting fights between these bosses goons on television and letting them expand their questionably legal street enterprises, he has many takers.  Hip hop bosses such as New York’s own “The Prince of New York” DJ Self, Uncle Murda, Cuban Link, Torch, and Red Cafe, as well as Miami’s Billy Blue, Brisco, Gunplay, and
Young Breed, to Altanta’s Russell “Big Block” Spencer, as well as Chicago’s L.E.P. Bogus Boys, and California’s 40 Glocc have all stepped up for the challenge to reign as the ultimate street king in the Urban Wrestling Federation.

With their goons set to do battle, the action inside the ring is fierce as names you know like Homicide (former TNA Superstar), Rich Beast Ortiz (former WWE Superstar Ricky Ortiz), Eddie Kingston, Famous B (as seen on Lucha Underground), Willie Mack (Lucha Underground's The Mack), Ricky Reyes (Lucha Underground's
Cortez Castro), Bestia (Lucha Underground’s Bestia 666), Murder One, Ghetto Mafia, and many more fight to prove who is the new king on the block for these thirsty slingers.  But, unlike anywhere else, in the Urban Wrestling Federation, the block can be just as dangerous as inside the ropes.
Pushing product, protecting corners and proving their squad is supreme is everyday life
in the UWF.  In and out of the ring criminal violence is the order the day.

Upon hearing about the return to Pay Per View of the Urban Wrestling Federation, Bryan Alvarez, host of Wrestling Observer Live, the most listened to daily pro wrestling and mixed martial arts radio show in the world said, "When I watched it again it grew on me very rapidly."  He continued, "I remember watching it
(originally) thinking ok this is SO totally different from anything else.  There is swearing and profanity and characters get murdered.  What it was really, was, and I cannot wait to hear the response to this, it was Lucha Underground before Lucha Underground."

Mike Johnson, who is the top writer at PWInsider, one of the most visited pro wrestling websites says, “The Urban Wrestling Federation was built around the concept of taking the sort of urban drama seen in "The Wire" and the street credibility of hip hop music, crossing it over with professional wrestling, specifically the blood and guts, physical style that pervaded the likes of ECW.
When the UWF originally launched tt was audacious and probably ahead of it's time. It may be that the rest of the world is starting to catch up with Steve Karel's crazed vision to mix hip hop thuggery and pro wrestling violence.”

If you have never witnessed the groundbreaking series that Urban Wrestling Federation, now is your chance!  If you watched the original series, here is your chance to see the drama, the blood feuds, the intensity from a whole new perspective.  No matter which camp you are in - don't miss Urban Wrestling
Federation Pay Per Views. This month “Hood Killa” is airing so check your local cable, satellite, and telco provider for air dates and times.
