DAVID FLAIR ACCEPTS CHALLENGE FROM DUSTIN RHODES TO A NO DISQUALIFICATION FIRST BLOOD MATCH FRIDAY NIGHT IN MOORESVILLE!!!!
It was supposed to be a friendly promotional interview on NASCAR Star Dale Earnhardt, Jr's weekly radio show featuring Earnhardt and Hermie Sadler to promote Sadler's United Wrestling Federation event this Friday night at Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, NC. But it turned into a heated feud when Dustin Rhodes and David Flair called into the show to discuss the tribute that Sadler and UWF officials had planned for Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair.
After a heated exchange between the two, Rhodes challenged Flair to a no disqualification first blood match at Lake Norman this Friday, and Flair immediately accepted. The two sons had been invited by Sadler to participate in a Legends tribute to Ric Flair and to honor Dusty for his recent induction into the Hall of Fame this past April.
Other matches scheduled include Raven v. Jerry Lynn, James Storm and Jackie Moore v. Chris Harris and Gail Kim, Rikishi and D Lo Brown v. Elix Skipper and David Young, and many more stars to be announced.
UWF will also return to Greensboro, NC this Saturday, May 12, featuring the UWF debut of Sgt. Slaughter.
Please note: The UWF announced today that it has signed "Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damian Wayne to a contract to appear on selected shows for the promotion, including this weekend's shows in Charlotte and Greensboro.
Former WCW and WWE star Daffney will also debut with the UWF this weekend.
