The two TNA house shows promoted by UWF this past weekend in North Carolina were a good sign for TNA.  The show drew a sellout crowd in Williamston on Friday night and a huge crowd of over 1800 on Saturday in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Notes coming from the North Carolina shows:

-"Showtime" Eric Young's babyface turn was extremely well received at both shows this weekend, meaning a lot of fans in Eastern North Carolina are watching TNA Wrestling.

-Earl Hebner, who was recently fired from TNA by Jim Coronette, may be facing the same with UWF officials after this weekend.  In Friday nights tag team battle between The James Gang and Americas Most Wanted, Hebner appeared several times to be biased towards Americas Most Wanted.  His actions during the match drew UWF president Hermie Sadler into the ring during the match to confront Hebner, only for him to receive a Superkick to the jaw from Cowboy James Storm.  Eventually, Hebner's son Brian ran in and pulled Earl from the ring to count the 1-2-3 as The James Gang advanced to a Saturday night showdown with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.

Prior to the main event Saturday night in Jacksonville, Styles and Daniels refused to put the NWA Tag Team titles on the line with Earl Hebner as the referee.  Eventually Brian Hebner was brought in to replace Earl as the referee of that match, much to the delight of the TNA Wrestling fans.

TNA Wrestling presented by UWF debuts in South Carolina August 10-12.  Scheduled to appear are AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Abyss, Eric Young, The Naturals, The James Gang, NWA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett, and many more stars.
