August 13, 2006 - After having run New York successfully for over 10 years, UXW President Frank Goodman decided it was time to branch out and try a new market, one which the fans have demanded and now they have it. On Saturday Night, September 23, 2006, UXW returns to action and debuts in Orlando, FL! The show will take place at the Orlando Downtown Recreation Complex located at 649 W. Livingston Street in Orlando! Doors open at 6 PM with a bell time of 7 PM!
Several matches for this Florida debut event have already been signed!
After having lost the UXW Heavyweight Championship back in March to Raven, “The War Machine” RHINO has been looking for his revenge! On July 29, Rhino returned to UXW to answer the challenge of “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, but came up short as he still had his mind on Raven rather then Steiner. On September 23, in Orlando, FL, Rhino will get his shot at revenge as he goes toe to toe with the man who took the title from him, former 3 time UXW Champion, RAVEN!
On July 29, X-PAC (a.k.a. Sean Waltman a.k.a. Syxx a.k.a. 1-2-3 Kid) debuted for UXW, coming within a second of winning the UXW gold. X-Pac was a key member in two of the greatest wrestling factions of all times, D-Generation X and the New World Order, and was not happy to have the newly formed C.O.D. cost him the title. The former WCW Crusierweight, WWE Tag Team, European, and Light Heavyweight Champion, as well as the TNA X Division Champion, is still looking for the gold, but will have to take on another man who wants to same opportunity. Former WCW Crusierweight, Tag Team, and Crusierweight Tag Team Champion and former WWE Crusierweight and Tag Team Champion, the master of the shooting star press, BILLY KIDMAN, will take on SEAN WALTMAN (X-Pac) one-on-one September 23!
