Velocity review for 8/6/05
Special 7:00 PM Velocity tonight!Paul London vs. Nunzio with Big Vito for the WWE Cruiserweight Title
London gets a quick rollup for 2. He gets a hurrincanrana and gets the mushroom stomp for 2. Nunzio takes over, getting a knee drop to London's head. Suplex gets 2 for Nunzio. He goes to the chinlock. Nunzio misses a dropkick, and London gets an Oklahoma Roll for 2. Nunzio gets a neckbreaker for 2. Nunzio goes back to the chinlock. London gets an inverted faceplant after he lands on his feet from a back body drop. Nunzio misses a corner splash, and London gets a corner dropsault followed by a belly to belly suplex gets 2. London gets a spinning heel kick for 2. London powerbomb is reversed to a face first slam by Nunzio for 2. London gets a superkick and goes up for the London Calling, but Vito distracts the ref. Vito tosses a stick or something into Nunzio, and Nunz nails London with it for the pin and the titles. Cool. Nice match. ***

Back on Velocity, Paul whines about losing the title and being screwed. I would let a thief burger my house, Paul. Paul threatens to fight the system or something to get his title back.
We review the Contract signing from Smackdown.
Simon Dean vs. Mo Sexton
Simon again threatens to force feed his opponent to eat his nutrition bar. That sounded wrong. Simon dominates Sexton. Simon goes to an armbar submission. Sexton fights back with a backdrop suplex. He pounds on Simon a bit, and gets an elevated dropkick for 2. Simon gets his grounded Olympic Slam for the pin. He then indeed makes Sexton eat his nutrition bar. 1/2*

We review the soap opera ending to Smackdown 2 nights ago.
Oh man, that 40 Year Old Virgin movie looks hilarious. And by hilarious, I of course mean stupid and unfunny.
We go to a Steve Romero interview with Orlando Jordan from earlier tonight.
Orlando Jordan vs. Hardcore Holly for the WWE United States Title
Hardcore dominates with a hammerlock to start. He then switches it up and goes to the wristlock. Nice moveset, Bob. Orlando neck snaps Holly off the top rope. Orlando gets a snapmare and drops 3 elbows. Swining neckbreaker gets 2 for Jordan. He goes to the chinlock. Nice moveset, Orlando. Double clothesline and both guys are down. Slugfest, and Holly gets a shoulderblock followed by a back elbow and back body drop. Hardcore gets the Full Nelson slam for 2. Holly chops Orlando in the corner, and gets a corner clothesline, and tries another, but Orlando pulls the referee in front of him and gets nailed, and Hardcore gets the DQ win. Holly Alamaba Slams Orlando after the match. So they can put Orlando over Chris Benoit, but not fucking HARDCORE HOLLY? Ugh. **
Overall Thoughts: Stupid ending aside, another good edition of Velocity. Huzzah to Nunzio as Crusierweight Champ.
