Hogan, JAPW, Bruno, Jericho, Sid, Matt Bloom, New Jack and much more…
Saturday April 22, 2006 By Fat Frank
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to keep everyone up to date on things here in JAPW. First off I will start off with some news that might seem bad for some.
World Wide Tapings At AWA Cancelled
I have canceled the World Wide Tapings that were scheduled to take place at the AWA Wrestling School in Union City, NJ. I was very unhappy with the last turn-out and there is no reason to lie about it or make up excuses. We did over 800 fans on a Saturday night put could not pull in 100 fans the night before. World Wide is going to continue and will be taped at our live shows. Rather then do a pre-show taping we will use matches that are filmed during the main show and will add in interviews, promos and live event updates.

Thanks to Adam Lebow for this tidbit:
Since WWE went and had a Supershow on Monday, there is an interesting edition of Heat on the WWE website, as Heat has gone retro. The first segment is of I.R.S giving a tax lesson to the fans, followed by a Money Inc vs. Natural Disasters match. The second segment is the Razor Ramon vs 1-2-3 Kid Match for the $10,000 . We then get to see Andre the Giant take on Big John Stud. The main event of Heat... Wrestlemania 21 Money in the Bank. Its funny just to see how Routundo was back then...
Last week we had a great interview from Kris Krude. Check it out in the archives.

Simon Diamond
Simon has a problem and this week we will see what it is. He is one of the guys to keep your eyes on. He was a major player in ECW, MLW, and many other places and has found his way back to NWA-TNA. This week we catch up to the man who is now sharing his knowledge of the business with many of the young guys out there. Be careful or you might learn something.
Tracy Smothers
This southern boy has been to many of the territories, through ECW and most of the major promotions out there today. He has a vast knowledge and respect for the business. He has spent 24 years in this business and has seen it all. This week we hear from him for the first time
