Thanks to Lee for this update:

Amy (Lita) Dumas is posting on her blog that September 11th is the release date for the Luchagors new CD.

I went to Summerslam, sat 2nd row. The arena has now banned the use of cell phone cameras on the floor level.  One guy behind me had his nabbed by the security after his first shot.

Today on WWE Madison Square Garden Classics on MSG Network will feature matches from January 31, 1992 including Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts and Jimmy Snuka vs. Shawn Michaels in the first hour.  The second hour will feature Don Muraco vs. Pedro Morales in a Texas Death Match and WWE champion Bob Backlund vs. Greg Valentine.  I have to tell you I really enjoy just sitting back and enjoying wrestling every Wednesday.  In NY on cable it's Channel 27...

Congressman Cliff Stearns is trying to pull the plug on STEROIDS !

"The wellness program includes not only rigorous random drug testing through its substance abuse and drug testing policy, but also an equally important cardiovascular testing and monitoring program," the document states. "The drug testing aspect of the wellness program is administered by Dr. David Black, director of the independent Aegis Laboratories in Tennessee."

Two paragraphs later, the WWE document reveals that Black isn't even a physician.

So much for credibility.

"The WWE says it has a program in place," Stearns said. "But when it was reviewed by experts, the detection threshold was too high."

The WWE also has a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for its wrestlers, according to Stearns. If a wrestler fails a drug test, the wrestler can get a back-dated prescription for anabolic steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs.

"We had a lot of former wrestlers contact us and tell us (illegal) steroid use is rampant," Stearns said. "And it's not just for bigger muscles. Wrestlers are using them for aches and pains, too."

It's a complex matrix of deception and fraud, the perfect conduit for monster TV ratings and giant bank accounts.

With any luck, Cliff Stearns, the electrical engineer turned Congressman, will be able to disconnect the wiring.
