New Japan meets with WWE
December 14, 2006
During his visit to the United States, President of New Japan Pro Wrestling Antonio Inoki stopped by WWE World Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. to meet with Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis.
During the brief, cordial meeting, both sides discussed possible business ventures in the future between WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling - the largest wrestling promotion in Japan.

Here is an update I received from my dear friend, Walt Wolansky:
Inoki has not been President for a long time, and he sold all the stock shares he owned to Yukes (a company in Japan).  Inoki has nothing to do with New Japan management.  Maybe he is hitching a ride on New Japan coattails.  Or maybe WWE is talking to him about induction into the Hall of Fame.
His son-in-law Simon is the President...so maybe WWE made a mistake on the first name only.   Inoki has been finished with the company for a long while now.

JR has been blogging like crazy, here is more feedback:
JR is also autographing many of his items for sale on his site for the Holidays..
With only a few holiday shopping days left, J.R. is busy in his workshop signing merchandise for all the good boys and girls. He wants to remind you that orders received by Monday, Dec 18th should still arrive in time to stuff into your wrestling fan's stocking, but you should order earlier just to make sure. Also, from now through Christmas, if you order 2 or more bottles of sauce, they will come autographed at no additional charge. These make excellent stocking stuffers.

Don't forget, we still have a few of the Cookbook/Sauce promos left for purchase, BUT THEY ARE GOING FAST!
Welcome to J.R.’s Family Bar-B-Q

National Wrestling Superstars action returns to the Seashore Gym, 404 Broadway in Long Branch, New Jersey on Friday night, December 29th at 7:45pm for a huge holiday week show that area wrestling fans will talk about long into 2007.

The show will feature two former WWE superstars heading up an 8 man tag team tussle. In a highly unusual move, NWS promoters have brought in two stars to lead the charges in this two out of three fall event.

One team lead by America's hero The Patriot, guiding Sgt. Jimmy Storm, Ali the Dark Patriot and Goal-Duh will square off against the team of Salvatore Sincere and his brigade consisting of tag champs the Sychodelic Sissies (Shane Taylor and Ace Darling) and turncoat TNT.  It is believed that this is the first time that The Patriot and Sal Sincere have ever met face to face in an NWS ring, so that alone should bring out the wrestling fans. They'll be plenty more including notables such as Corvis Fear, Nicky Oceans, Mikey Pacifica and many local favorites.

Tickets are only $17 adults; $15 kids and seniors and will make great stocking stuffers.

You can order tickets on-line at www.doubleplaytixx.com or call 732-888-1704

Jaheem The Dream & Trailer Park Heat were the final survivors of a 10 man tag match that pitted Jaheem & Trailer Park Heat & DZ Hyde & Yuk & Toni Monroe vs Krazy Killer Klowns 1 & 2, KC McKnight & Bobby Eating & Dead Lee.
The match started as a brawl, Dead Lee was the first eliminated by Jaheem the Dream.  DZ Hyde was pinned by the Krazy Killer Klowns, Then the Klowns were eliminated back to back by Trailer Park Heat.  Yuk beat Bobby eating to eliminate him, and then KC McKnight pinned Toni Monroe and Yuk before taking a big splash from Jaheem and a stunner from Trailer Park Heat who covered him for the win.

Flipski had his Hunting Lodge interview segment where he welcomed back Chilly Willy.  Willy thanked the crowd and Count Grog (as Grog Bowden) and Commissioner Steveie Charles came out and told Willie he needed a gimmick to be in GOUGE.  They offered up a Cowboy, a hunter and blonde wig, all of which Chilly declined.  When Steveie Charles offered a Burger King crown and named him the King of GOUGe Chilly liked the idea and put on the crown.

After intermission Dick Foley came out and announced since Krazy K was out with a 3rd degree sprained ankle he should be awarded the title contract.  Grog and Charles came out and announced the match would still take place but Charles was putting Chilly Willy in the Match.
Chilly Willy pinned Dick Foley after hitting him with brass knuckles that was in one of the wrapped presents in the corner.  At the time Foley was putting on a sweater that was in another box. Cookie sheets were in another box and used in the match. Chilly then opened a box that had the title contract in it and can get a title shot at any show in the next 180 days.

GOUGE Tag Champs the Urban Legends (Cowboy Willie Watts & Luther Thesz) vs Tennessee Ernie Nord & Rusty Comoads rukled a Double count out.  Early in the match Watts hit Ernie Nord with a brutal knee left knocking him cold.  the lights went out and when they came on a maked man with a bullrope (who Rusty announced was the Midnight Jobber) was in the ring.  Commissioner Steveie Charles allowed The Midnight Jobber to take his palce.  the match continued but ended when all four wrestlers fought to the back.

GOUGE Champion Scab defeated Cham Pain.  midway through the match, Cham Pain was tossed from the ring and Grog was kicking him when Chilly willy chased him to the back.  After the ref was knocked out Scab went out and got his belt to use as a weapon.  Chilly Willy hit the ring with a chair and backed Scab in the corner, he turned and broke the chair over Cham Pain and woke the ref as Scab cover Cham Pain for the pin.  afterwards he brated the fans and thanked Grog for bringing him in and walked off with Grog as a new member of the brotherhood.

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 Wire
25 days to go before Rebirth Or Destruction and tickets are going fast. In fact the advance ticket sales are the best they have ever been for an Academy Hall event, even beating the Vast Energy ‘02 show that saw Japanese stars Shinjiro Otani and Masato Tanaka defeat CW Anderson and Steve Corino for the PWF Universal tag team titles! With your help we can not only make this the first sellout ever at Academy Hall in Pottstown, PA but also raise more money for the MAJIC Foundation

Proceeds from both sponsorships and tickets are going to the wonderful cause. For more information on the Morgan Arthur Jr. Inspirational Center fund visit our website at www.WORLD1Wrestling.com.

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is also pleased to announce today that W-1Joshi has partnered with LadySports.com to promote the debut event of W-1Joshi on Sunday, January 7.

LadySports.com, the parent company of the Professional Girls Wrestling Association, has been in business since 1992 and specializes in bringing proper respect to the sport of women’s professional wrestling. LadySports.com not only has DVD’s for purchase but you can purchase matches to watch on your computer!
Check out all the action over at www.LadySports.com.

As part of the co-promotion between LadySports.com and Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1, the current PGWA champion Nikki Roxx has stated that not only will see win the Queen’s Cup at Rebirth Or Destruction but she has made a public challenge to WORLD-1 champion Amazing Kong to come back to the United States and defend her W-1 title against her. Amazing Kong, who lives in Japan, has not commented yet but she is very aware that the winner of the Queen’s Cup is not only coming over to Japan to go after the AWA Japan title but the WORLD-1 title too.
W-1Joshi representative Michael Kehner has announced the brackets for the first round of the Queen’s Cup tournament.

Match 1: Cindy Rogers vs. Alere Little Feather
Match 2: Amber O’Neal vs. Allison Danger
Match 3: Nikki Roxx (PGWA champion) vs. Sara Del Ray
Match 4: Cheerleader Melissa (APW) vs. Melissa Stripes

Also today, Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 President Steve Corino announced that WORLD-1 will be helping raise money for the Perkiomen Valley Youth Wrestling Club in Graterford, PA. All Rebirth Or Destruction tickets bought through the PVYWC will help raise money for the team. You can visit the team website at eteamz.active.com/pvywc/news/index.cfm?cat=259925.
Marcus KING KONG Dowling (Yes, he asked us to spell it that way) emailed Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 and informed the office that he has signed PWA Pure Wrestling champion Impact Eddie Osbourne to a managerial contract starting on January 1. Osbourne is making quite a name for himself in the Toronto area, even getting comparisons to a young CW Anderson, and by signing with the evil Dowling this will give him more recognition with the WORLD-1 fans. Maybe the wrong recognition but for more information on Impact Eddie Osbourne and Reggie Marley visit www.PureWrestlingCanada.com.

Another outside talent making their W-1 debut at Rebirth Or Destruction is the APW Universal champion "The Brazilian Beast" Kafu. The very dangerous half-man, half-machine has been trained in capoeria, shoot fighting, and tae kwon do to go along with his ever growing pro-wrestling skills. Kafu’s first round opponent will be against a fighter that W-1 officials know the fans are going to love in Big Ticket Reggie Marley. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Marley likes to have as much fun in the ring as he does beating them up. But don’t get Marley’s good nature fool you, this man can be as dangerous as they come and if Kafu pushes the right button this one could get out of hand quick. Read up more about Marley at www.PureWrestlingCanada.com and Kafu at AllProWrestling.com.

With the WORLD-1 tag team champion The Heartbreak Express going to Japan in February for Pro-Wrestling ZERO1-MAX, one half of the PWF tag team champions Sweet ‘n’ Sour Larry Sweeney is none too happy. Sweeney claims that both him and King Kaluha should have been chosen to represent WORLD-1 but got overlooked. Sweeney then told WORLD1Wrestling.com that he thinks that maybe it had something to do with Kaluha’s age. To the obvious eye, Sweeney is showing his youthfulness by making a boast like that but Marcus KING KONG Dowling better keep an eye on Sweeney’s mouth because he doesn’t want trouble from not only his partner but a 24 year veteran like Kaluha.

WORLD-1 Dojo First Day Training will be scheduled for Saturday, January 6 at the W-1 Dojo in Blandon, PA. Stage 1 and Stage 2 training will take place on January 3. Email Curt Lemon for your spot at [email protected]. A $20 deposit will be required for registration. Individual training with Steve Corino is also available during the holiday season. You can contact him direct at [email protected].

And finally today WORLD-1 would like to thank all the sponsors and fans that are really coming together to not only make Rebirth Or Destruction an early success but to raise money for the MAJIC Foundation. WORLD-1 is happy to tell the Pottstown fans that we will have ten events at Academy Hall in Pottstown, PA with the next one being Sunday, February 11 for WrestleBowl 2k7. Every event in 2007 will benefit MAJIC so if your organization is looking for a fund raiser and you want to bring Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 to your town contact us at [email protected]. Not only will you be helping your organization but the very important MAJIC Foundation.

The main event is an 8 man tag team elimination war as Team Nightmare, led by NECW Triple Crown Champion, “The Human Nightmare” Evan Siks, along with “Big” Rick Fuller, “Straight Edge”  Brian Fury and Jason Blade battle Team Sabotage, led by former NECW Heavyweight Champion, D.C. Dillinger, along with 2006 IRON 8 Champion, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards, former NECW Heavyweight Champion, “Hurricane” John Walters and “The Exotic Kristian Frost, all managed by “The Mouthpiece of the East” Sean Gorman.
