Matt Hardy's webmaster posted the following statement regarding the wrestler's WWE status:
Hello everyone,
Just a little update on Matt for the sake of killing any rumors and assumptions as to his status.
Simply enough, when Matt was given the standard blood test, they found dormant trace elements of the Staph infection which plagued him many months ago.
After a light antibiotic treatment and a few weeks off to properly rest, Matt will be back...

At a recent film festival called Fantasia, the new Snoop Dogg film HOOD OF HORROR was shown. This film features many stars including wrestling star DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE. This marks the second time Page has teamed with Danny Trejo (devil's rejects) a veteran of horror films. The film is slated for a November 4th U.S. release.
Nicole Bass was on Howard Stern show, talking about being broke and not doing well physically. Nicole has moved and I haven't been in touch with her in a long while. Howard mentioned that Bubba the Love Sponge told him there's another wrestling group with better storylines than WWE. Robin said she heard there was a new group that just started and they both laughed. I guess they were talking about ECW. Although I don't think their storylines are better.

I just loved watching the MSG Classics last night, as I always do. It was just so sad to see how many wrestlers are no longer with us. Brian Pillman, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Rick Rude, Rick McGraw and Gorilla Monsoon.
Then it was sad to see my sister Linda, who died of cancer at 50. And my dear friend Richie Mershon who also passed away of cancer.
If any of you were looking for me, I was sitting in front of my friend Daniel from Australia in second row who was holding up a Joel Gertner 3:16 sign in the last match. It was good seeing Elliot Maron at ringside, Vladimir and Charlie too.
Watching these shows brings back such great memories of the great times we had at wrestling. I miss those days.
