Thanks to Bob for this link to photo's of Brooke & Hulk Hogan with Antonio Inoki in Japan:
WireImage: Listings   Every network in Japan had coverage of the press conference because of Hulk & Inoki being together, since they were both a tag team called "The Dream Team" at times as well as rivals during the glory days of New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Hello All!   I am in Tokyo this week working on opening up distribution for Socko Energy here in Japan. Hope to be back in the states by the weekend.  I had a chance to stop by a couple of WalMart's in the Phoenix area and found out that the "Raw Attitiude powered by Socko" and "Hogan Energy powered by Socko" are available in many of the stores ahead of schedule (they are scheduled to be on the shelf in 100% of the designated stores by June 1, with the majority of the stores by May 15. If you have the time, do me a favor and stop by your local WalMart and head back to the cooler section and pick up a couple of 4 packs. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the product after you have had a chance to sample them!  Best. Eric Bischoff

The NWE management have been taking part in important negotiations over the past few days with prestigious Italian production companies regarding the possibility of NWE World champion Romeo Roselli, starring in the leading role of an important Italian TV series. The production company seem enthusiastic at the prospect of Roselli in the leading role but the final decision will be taken in June after the audition.  If this project actually goes ahead Romeo will be yet another NWE wrestler who takes his place on an Italian TV set. First there was the sensational success of KISHI e BLACK PEARL in Distraction (the quiz show of the year) followed by MAT MORGAN in PIPER and not forgetting the box office success of DE LAURENTIS'S NATALE A MIAMI in 2006 featuring the incredible Kishi.

Thanks to MaryJane Lemieux:

NWS Returns To South River This Friday Night

The South River VFW Hall has played host to many pro wrestling events from National Wrestling Superstars in the past few years. And even though NWS prides itself on being "family-themed entertainment", the VFW Hall has the feeling and atmosphere of an Extreme Championship Wrestling venue, and even NWS gets caught up in the atmosphere and gets "extreme" every time they come to town. Well, wrestling fans, get ready, because the extreme feeling will be back this Friday night May 11th, as NWS returns to the South River VFW Hall, 31 Reid Street (just off Main Street and minutes from Route 18), with a 7:45 pm bell time.

For starters, NWS will be presenting what has become an area wrestling tradition, the Crazy-8 Tournament. Eight area cruiserweight wrestling stars (which means eight high-flying speed demons tearing up the ring) will compete in a gauntlet-style elimination bout. The participants (as of press time) include local favorites J.T. Highlander and "Jersey" Jerry D, Old Bridge newcomer John Justice, plus luchador Antonio Malave, Gil Quest, "Jumping" Joey Janella, and Mikey Pacifica. Better not blink, or you'll miss the action.

The ladies will also be getting extreme in South River... namely two ladies who extremely despise each other and have been doing their best to tear one another apart all over the tri-state area. It will be the whiney, but crafty and talented Jersey girl Alicia taking on the Native American Princess, who is no princess once the bell rings, Alere Little Feather.

But the icing on the cake in South River will be the appearance of five nationally-known stars of pro wrestling. A pair of former ECW stars will be looking to get extreme on their own in South River, "Dastardly" Danny Doring" and The Equalizer. Former WCW mind games player "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan will be on hand, and East Coast star Slyck Wagner Brown returns to NWS action after a long absence.

And rounding out the show, the biggest star of all in South River, TNA Wrestling's Kip James, perhaps better known to the fans as former WWE star Billy Gunn, will be in action in the ring. Whether you know him better as an original member of D-Generation-X, or a current member of the Voodoo Kin Mafia, you know you don't want to miss the chance to see him live in action.

Tickets for this major event are still available, and are only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors. Call  (732) 888-1704. Group discounts are available. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.doubleplaytixx.com. Remaining tickets, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.

Hannibal beat Tommy Bouchett with tornado DDT - 7:03

JDT challenged all comers and in walks NOAH'S Bison Smith. Bison easily beat JDT - 11:48 - and issued a challenge to "anyone in the world!"

In a Triple Threat Match  Billy V, Jason Noel and Stone D battled in and out of the ring. Billy used a frog splash to pin Jason - 11:13. Juntsu raced into the ring and attacked Billy following this match.

Matt Yaden pinned Dustin Uhrich with a kick and press - 5:59. This was a scary moment for the kick KO'd Dustin! He was taken by private car to the ER where it was learned he suffered a mild concussion.

FUSION champion Duff Doyle teamed with Paul Diamond in a tag match against Jeff McAllister and Jack Mecidol. This was truly an outstanding tag event in old school style. Duff used the airplane spin and press to beat Jeff - 23:23. Outstanding match!
