Congratulations to Ric Flair on signing a new three year contract with the WWE and upon getting married next weekend to Tiffany VanDemark on the Grand Cayman Island. Tiffany was with Ric at the WWE Hall of Fame.
David Flair was going to be working on the WrestleReunion show next weekend, but canceled due to his Dad's wedding.

WWE has changed its August Australia dates. The new schedule is 8/3 in Newcastle, 8/4 in Sydney and 8/5 in Melbourne. The show in Adelaide was canceled.

Congratulations to Wanda and Bill Goldberg on the birth of their son Gage AJ Goldberg born on May 10th @ 8:48 PM PT weighing in at 5 pounds and 11 oz.
Gage is their first child.
TNA Wrestling moved to Thursday nights (11 p.m. ET) on Spike-TV. That's a positive sign for TNA. The appearance of some of my old buddies on TNA, such as Scott and Rick Steiner, certainly will help their cause. I wish TNA nothing but the best and, yes, I can tell you that I've been in contact with TNA officials. The potential for a comeback definitely exists.
I might be doing more Pros vs. Joes.

Thanks to Mike:

See No Evil opens on Friday, May 19th everywhere.
Kane is going up against some heavy hitters.
The Da Vinci Code movie also opens on May 19th.
From director Ron Howard, producer Brian Grazer and writer Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar®-winning team of A Beautiful Mind, comes the film version of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code one of the most popular and talked about novels of our time, with a cast headed by two-time Academy Award® winner Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Jean Reno, Sir Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina and Paul Bettany.
The buzz on this movie, I feel with definitely hurt the opening of Kane's movie "See No Evil".  Almost every other commercial on TV right now is for The DaVinci Code.    Da Vinci Code

Jillian Hall (born Jillian Fletcher, September 6, 1980 in Ashland, Kentucky) is a professional wrestler who performs for World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown! brand.

JOEL GERTNER ON GET IN THE RING
Recap courtesy of Brian Cooper of www.BigVanVader.com:
Joel Gertner was this weeks featured guest on the Get In The Ring radio show. To listen to the show go to www.getinthering.tv or www.wrestlingradionetwork.com.

Order the excellent GIR book; Mysteries of Wrestling: Solved for just $12.32 by clicking here.

- Joel Gertner joins The Phantom and Junior on the show. Phantom immediately asks Joel how much ass he's had since his last appearance on GIR? 'None, it's all a work.' Onto One Night Stand and the 'shoot' kick by JBL. 'When he kicks you in the ass, he kicks you in the head at the same time, so I'm still recovering from it, no, it was wonderful,' and says working for the WWE was 'a dream come true.' He puts over how well organized the WWE product is.

- Junior asks about One Night Stand II? Joel says he doesn't know, but would like an invite. 'It's their call and their decision to make.' Joel says he was asked by this point last year. Phantom asks how much Joel was paid for the ECW PPV? 'They exceeded my expectations.'

- Phantom asks about the TNA deal. 'Things just didn't work out,' but says there is no heat. Phantom asks about the internet rumor of Joel sleeping in his car, with Joel replying he didn't even travel to Nashville in a car. Joel says he is now working for MSW (http://mswwrestling.com).

- Phantom then asks for his craziest ECW memory. No answer. How about did Joel get any groupies? 'Yeah.' On the Joey Styles shoot on this weeks RAW. 'It was real good.' ON ECW, 'I once saw a woman smoke a woman in an orifice other then her mouth.'

- Joel says ECW was 'like a family,' and said he made a lot of money in ECW, 'I was lucky.' Phantom tries for dirt on Paul Heyman. Joel talks about the origins of the stud muffin gimmick, the neck brace, and working for WWE.

- On being owed money; 'I was owed what some people would consider a substantial amount of money, but at the same time, I'm 25 years old, I'm a team player, I've already made what many, many people would probably consider was a bit too much, and I should've been lucky and just gotten out while the getting was good, and just not complained. Not necessarily for that reason, but because I didn't wanna make a million.'
