WWE TO ANNOUNCE QUARTER ENDING RESULTS NEXT MONTH
On Tuesday, December 5^th the WWE will host a conference call to announce the
results for the quarter ending October 27th. All members of the media are
welcome to participate and after the results are read a Q&A session with CEO
Linda McMahon will follow. The conference call will be held at 11AM est and
you can call 800-862-9098 and quote ID WWE fifteen minutes prior to the
start, to reserve a line. The WWE corporate website will stream the
conference call live.

A 'Tribute To The Troops' press conference will be held on Tuesday at
Noon with Mr McMahon, JBL, Lilian Garcia, Carlito, Torrie Wilson and Bobby
Lashley scheduled to appear and Todd Grisham hosting the event. The press
conference will be held to announce that the WWE will be returning to
Iraq to host the Christmas Day edition of RAW. The press conference will be

The ECW house show this Monday, 11/20 in Williamsport, PA was listed as cancelled on a few sites.  I called the Arena the lady Judy told me the show is not cancelled.  Now I see on the ticket website that the show is cancelled.  Here is the phone number to double check ..  Call  570-323-7134..  Why can't things just be easy...

WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has been hospitalized in Oregon for surgery after being sent home from WWE's tour of the United Kingdom. Piper's original diagnosis was kidney stones, however, sources close to the situation say the former World Tag Team Champion's surgery may be a result of disc problems. Due to Piper's injury, he will not participate at Survivor Series; Ric Flair's team will now include a Legend to be named.

I couldn’t agree with you more…..like you I am SO TIRED of       “Sports Entertainment” and am hungry to watch real   wrestling with brewing storylines and great PPV payoffs.  TNA has positioned themselves to be a viable alternative to  the WWE, but they still continue to come off as “BUSH-LEAGUE”.  Your assessment  of Vince Russo’s hot shot booking (or actual lack-there-of) is so missing the mark of  what, I feel the majority of true wrestling    fans, are truly  wanting.  While I applaud Russo’s apparent          change of heart regarding his personal life, his booking is still     that of   someone who thinks he knows what fans what to see and he really doesn’t have a clue of what true booking in the      wrestling industry is about.  He is all about ratings and quick       fixes.  I predict that, like everywhere else-Russo will crash &       burn within 6 months. 

Wrestling is really hurting these days and TNA is doing  little to help……the WWE apparently could care even less.

In Mexico, it’s a religion, in Japan it’s a sport... and in the USA, Wrestling is a joke

I thought Impact was great.  The matches were very  good, which of course
is the usual TNA quality with some guys going what felt the extra mile
to make the show a success.  As far as the booking goes, I  think TNA did
the right thing.  TNA to me felt like a WCW show around  the time that
they started beating WWE in the ratings.  They had to eventually take
that kind of approach if they want to become an actual  player in the
industry.  They need to show they are not afraid to take on Vince head
to head and actually acknowledge him and talk about  him.  We're way past
the days when a promotion refuses to talk about another     promotion on the
air.  TNA needed to step up to the plate, and they did.  TNA right now
is a far cry from what WWE is in terms of production value   and name
recognition, and things seems to keep getting worse for       them.  ie WWE
signing Monty Brown.  I felt TNA used the talent to the best of their
abilities, including Kevin Nash.  Nash is pretty well washed up as a
wrestler due to his long in ring career taking it's toll, but TNA figured out something others didn't.  Nash still has 20  years left in
him due to his comedic value.  And they used him for   what he was worth
on Impact.  If TNA got rid of Russo and went with an old     school booker,
they'd get the same thing regional promotions got when      Vince went
national.  A boot in the ass.  If TNA really wants to take  it  to the
next level and really compete with Vince, which we all  know has to be
the goal to survive in the business, they need to build upon what Russo
started. By getting rid of him & making a serious bid for Eric
Bischoff when his WWE contract is up.  Just a few thoughts.

Hi: 
I attended the first day of SupermegaFest.
From the get go, they had Piper removed due to commitments elsewhere.
About 8 total celebrities had cancelled.None of the wrestlers cancelled
except Piper.

Paul Orndorff was about an hour late in showing up at SuperMegaFest. I
went into meet Virgil, Captain Lou and Paul Orndoff.

First person you see is Virgil. He was destined to get as much money as
he can from each person.He tried to get you to buy a 8x10 right off the
bat and the Virgl/Million Dollar man figure set as well. He created
different prices for different people. He suckered me into signing a
card-then charged me $20 for it. The 8x10 photo he charged me was $20. I
found out he charged some other person in attendance $30 for an 8x10.
He was really trying hard to cash in the fans.

Paul Orndorff was super cool, He was nice as heck and he posed for a
picture w/out fee w/ my camera. He conversed w/me for a bit.

Captain Lou Albano, was awesome. He signed what I had plus the photo for
just one price. Bless him, he's wicked nice and everything. He kept on
calling Billy Dee Williams name (Billy Dee was at the show) It was fun
for him to an extent. I don’t think him being at a convention for 8 and
half hours is fun, I think the overall concept-meeting fans and taking a
look at other celebs from tv and movie.

Spike Dudley who I thought was supposed to be at SuperMegaFest   was NOT
listed for today nor tommorrow. There was no picture of him listed and
i'm not sure if he is going to be there on Sunday.   Thanks
